"Princess stay back," Jericho says again as if I wasn't already behind him. "It doesn't seem to be a threat, it might only want to sniff around."
The lion stopped abruptly, looking up at me like it was observing something I wasn't aware of.
In a sudden move, the lion transformed right before my eyes. If I wasn't very familiar with the weirdness of this world I would be very freaked out, but I merely swallowed.
A man who looked very much like Jericho stood in place of the lion, his eyebrows raising as if in jest.
"Brother," Jericho said, walking towards the man who looked exactly like him with the thick eyebrows and muscle build.
"You haven't changed one bit," I heard the other man say. His voice was unlike Jericho's — a tad bit feminine. I exhaled in relief, turning to face Thalia who was rooted to her spot too. We both couldn't believe our eyes.
