Approaching the planet they unexpectedly found the reentry process to be suspiciously smooth. They enter the planet's atmosphere and fly through the skies of this planet that no other human have stepped upon, unless Galahad is still considered a normal "human". From what they see the planet was a dotted with several mountains covered in tress. It was a beautiful sight to see.
They follow the radar towards the target. They land and leave without their spacesuits. From what the ship analyzed of the atmosphere it was habitable for human life.
They got off and looked around. Baikayu held a radar in their hand that showed the general area where Galahad was.
"They are just east of here." Baikayu looked up at a mountain. "Probably in that mountain if I had to guess."
"Hmph!" Goya grinned. "I can't wait to fight him!"
"Fight who?"
"Fight Galahad—!?"
The two star sailors were paralyzed in fear. It was such a charming, delightful voice that was honey to the ears. Yet the very presence they exude made them feel like they are standing before a monster.
Hands come down over their shoulders as a weight drags them down a bit. They were not too heavy for them. They slowly look to see Galahad between them looking down on the radar in Baikayu's hand.
"What an interesting device." He turns to Baikayu and their eyes meet.
She felt naked before him, but the sharpness he has softened as he looked at her. He looked at Goya and his gaze only softened even more. He knew who their ancestors where from a single look.
He sighed as he walked past them, his aura completely being sealed off. But his presence as a Beast of Humanity still effected them. Just seeing him standing before them made them feel so inadequate to say the least, this was the best Galahad could do over the years of being a Beast.
"What brings the children of Tsuyu Asui, Izuku Midoriya, Ochaco Uraraka, and Katsuki Bakugo all the way to my doorstep in a far off galaxy?" He turns to face them.
The name of their ancestors shook them a bit. Baikayu made a wry expression while Goya smiled.
"I am here to fight you!"
He quickly ignored what his own body is telling him and followed his heart which was beating like crazy.
"Hm. You certainly have Bakugo's explosive passion. Do you have One For All?"
"Damn right I do!" he nods while making an evil, villainess smile. It certainly brings back memories for Galahad.
"Well you have one shot. Hit me with all you got. If it doesn't—"
"Eat this!!"
Goya came up to his face, his whole body filled with magic circuits roared to life making a terrible engine sound, his hands glowed and from the ends of his open hands a bright, familiar light hits Galahad.
B O O O O M!!!
An explosion the size of a mountain in the shape of a mushroom cloud appeared for the first time on the planet. A large chunk of the area in front of Goya was destroyed, leaving a large swath of the trees destroyed.
"Look at that."
Goya's face was grabbed followed by his head being slammed into the ground.
"Agh!" Goya let out a groan of pain.
"You are just like Bakugo. Still that attack was mighty impressive."
Galahad walked out of it perfectly fine. He loosened his grip and stood upright. He adjusted his clothes and looked to Baikayu.
"What is your purpose here?"
"Uh-um… Two things, actually. One is to ask you to return to Earth and give your judgment on humanity. The second was to give you this letter."
She reached behind her and pulled out a very old letter sealed with a little frog wax seal. Galahad takes the letter and opens it. His eyes glides across the letter before making a bitter-sweet smile.
"I see…" He folds the letter and tucks it away carefully.
"T—that's all?" Baikayu was taken aback. "Just a I see?"
"Yes. Her letter left me rather bitter, sadden even. I am happy she found happiness in the end. Though I found it very… complicated, I should say, that one of my clones still survived and fell in love with her. I bet it was the eyes and her overall cuteness..." His mind wanders back to her after so many years. "Matter of fact you look a bit like her." Asui's descendent looks remarkably shares similar traits to her. "You have a very cute face, your eyes are the most charming."
Her face blushed a bit at his complements.
"L—Look will you return or—"
"Maybe." He shrugs his shoulders. "I haven't thought of Earth or humanity in a very long time." He passively scratched his chin. "It has been thousands of years since I saw it."
"B—But we became a Type 2 civilization! We are even a few decades away from being a Type 3!"
"How nice but I really don't care."
"What of the promise you made that you will return! The promise that set humanity on it's current course to be better than what it was that caused you to be birthed and what lead to it's end!"
"I did promise that… Hm… Hah." He scratched the back of his head. "Fine, I guess. I'll return and see what you all did. You better have killed the billionaires, gods forbid a trillionaire appeared, again."
"There is no longer such a thing anymore. And um… we did kill them two years after you left. They ran away and hid in their bunkers. They were dug out of their holes and executed by your order, the Knights of Galahad."
"Were they in Argentina?"
"A few yes. Some were on islands with self-sustaining bunkers. We did track and kill each one. It is taught in our history class in its full brutality and the actions they committed to warrant such actions."
"What of the techno-oligarchs?"
"We put them in solitary confinement and left them their until they died in straitjackets."
"I am already pleased." He smiled widely. "Now come along, we'll leave in the morning. This planet's rotation is the same as on Earth. So rest up, eat some good food, and maybe take a shower or something. My wife is cooking up some… Hm. I should make some food for you two. The food we eat is a bit too much for human tastes, unless humanity over the millennia's developed medicine to counter high blood pressure."
"W—wait what!? Wife, staying, food!?" Baikayu looked to Goya who was getting back up.
"Is the bed comfy?" Goya asked.
"It will be. Head to that mountain, she will be there at the base for you all."
He points east towards his and Mélusine's mountain and flew in that direction. Baikayu and Goya began to head in that direction as well. Goya was perfectly fine, just a bit rattled. His body is very durable.
"Are you fine, Goya?"
"Perectly." He nods. "Gotta say he hits like a damn truck."
"You should be thankful that is all he hit you with. Old man Kischur said he can fight with speeds and power that could crack a planet in half."
As they leave they did see Galahad begin to fix the damage Goya had done to the planet. They wonder if he could just do anything he pleases.
When they arrive at the base of the mountain they see a red haired woman with slit brilliant eyes like that of a serpent with the luster and shine of polished rubies. Her whole appearance was red, a stark contrast to Galahad's blue.
Behind her was a long flight of stairs, meticulously carved. Mélusine stares at the two, her eyes linger more on Baikayu more than Goya.
"Um… hello, miss!" Baikayu smiled and nodded. "I am—"
"The descended of the frog girl." Mélusine cut her off. "Hmph. You look like her, what with those darn cute eyes." She floats over and even smells her. "Even smell like her a bit. A bit more sweaty but that can just be from your travels. Galahad is mine. I want you to remember that. I laid claim to him."
Baikayu and Goya could feel and hear the jealousy tinged in her words. Goya looked to Baikayu.
"You heard the lady. He is hers."
"I am not going to try and steal him or anything!" She protested. "Look at her! She is way to stunning to compete!"
"You say that but…" Mélusine got up close to her face and really stared at her. "You share very few features with Galahad. I thought he was joking when he said that frog girl had children with one of his clones…" She remembers the Seraphs and the request she gave. But it seems possibly that Galahad's mother, the most likely person, spared one. "I mean…" She floated back. "I get it. Galahad was a very handsome man before he became what he is today. So I won't bash too hard. Come along froggy, boom-boom."
She grabs the two and fly up the stairs to the open entrance and flies through the long corridor.
"Don't you guys have a door?" Goya asked, already use to the speed Mélusine is flying.
"Who would dare enter our home without permission?" Mélusine replied. "Besides the people of this planet have no need to steal, they have enough food, water, and a community. That's all they ever wanted. And if you don't there is the other side of the planet where they built their cities and the like for those who develop beyond this planet."
"Wait are there more alien races? We just got in contact a few hundred years ago!? And were still working on further cooperations!"
"Yes, some species wished to know of the species Gal and I heil from, even though we are two far different species. It stems from our adventures across the stars that we gained a reputation amongst the denizens who fly though the stars. Some of the people of this planet enjoyed the thought of connecting with other life in the universe and so they got to work with those brains of theirs."
"And how is that going?"
"Their doing well. They are set to begin space travel in about three decades. Which to them is like three years. Could be shorter but they refused help and wish to reach the stars on their own merit."
"That's uh… kinda scary. Are there a lot of people on this planet?"
"There are. By the way your spaceship should already be taken by Galahad and placed on top of our home."
"This mountain is your home?"
"Yup. Each mountain you see belongs to a family."
The arrive at the kitchen to see Galahad standing over an iron sheet, cooking a large alien fish. A delightful scent spreads through the kitchen as Mélusine puts the two from Earth down. Baikayu was a bit wobbly as they regained their footing.
"Sit." Galahad said as he seasoned the fish and flips them over. "They'll be done in a minute."
Baikayu and Goya sit down while Mélusine gives them water in glass cups.
"Thank you." Baikayu said taking a sip.
"So what is up with this planet?" Goya asked. "That fish seems pretty… weird."
"Despite how similar it is to Earth in terms of atmosphere there are drastic changes in environment. Such as the gravity. I am sure you already realized you can walk around rather normally."
"Come to think of it, I did notice that." Baikayu said. "Why is that?"
"Because I am doing it. As the strongest creature on this planet I can control it as a Type would.
"That's pretty handy. So…" She looked around. "Have you just spent your time here?"
"No." He shook his head. "Me and Mélusine traveled the stars for a few thousand years. We only settled down here a few decades ago."
Mélusine floats over and hugs him tightly.
"Married for thousands of years and happy!"
"Any kids?" Goya asked.
"Goya!" Baikayu punched his shoulder. "Don't ask such things!"
"What!?" He protested. "They he is with a pretty girl for long enough he is gonna try something!"
"We have one son!" Mélusine replied with a big smile. "He is at school at the moment. He should be back in a few hours. His name is Ekeniyere!"
"Ekeniyere?" Goya tilted his head in surprise. "That name sounds like a name from the Southern Continent."
"He means African." Baikayu added.
"Ekeniyere, means How many will I remember? It originates from Nigeria. It was the name of my best friend when I was a young boy. He died a week after we have become friends, in my hands, gasping for air with a bullet lodged into his lungs."
The room went silent for a while from Galahad's short summary of his friend. The sound of the fire was the only thing making noise.
"So um… is this planet peaceful?"
"Very." Mélusine answers. "There was some conflict here and there, but they settle stuff now in a coliseum. Honestly their level of combat is similar to that of a weaken All Might."
"Really!?" Goya was both amazed and shocked. "I heard from the tales of that era that All Might, the hero who brought peace to the world for decades. With strength that can level a mountain."
"I am not sure he had the strength to do that, maybe Midoriya could. I have faced All Might before, but not Midoriya." Galahad added. "But… maybe he really could if not for his injury."
"So you never faced a current holder of One For All huh?" Goya said leaning forward. "I want another spar—"
There was a shift in Goya. Mélusine noticed this as he began to straighten himself properly. It was not until Goya spoke did Galahad turned to see him.
"Ah, it has been a while, Albert!"
He turns and for a moment he saw Midoriya overlaid on Goya before his appearance shined through.
"Mi… doriya?"
Goya smiled a bit nervously but one that made it clear for Galahad and Mélusine that it was in fact him.
"It has been a while, hasn't it?"
Galahad was surprised to reunite with Midoriya after centuries. This was truly miraculous.
"How are you here?" His eyes narrow on Midoriya.
Midoriya felt Galahad's penetrative gaze look through him. It would only be a matter of seconds now before he figures it out with how intense and deep he was looking in.
"One For All." He answered while scratching the back of his head.
"Ah… the Quirk." Galahad nods. "I see… Hm. That explains quiet a lot."
"What is… happening?" Baikayu looking at what is happening.
"I am sorry, Baikayu." Midoriya said to her. "I am Goya's ancestor, Izuku Midoriya. Through the Quirk One For All, visages of the previous holders can manifest themselves, it was a result of growth in the Quirk."
"Still…" Galahad retracted his gaze. "One For All is a stockpile Quirk. There would eventually be a limit to who can inherit it. Unless you consuming an imugi changed that somehow?"
"Yes." Midoriya nodded. "We found that besides a overall boost in abilities from consuming an imugi, it also helps stabilize Quirks. Now while not many consumed them even when I passed down One For All, it was shown in every Liner who consumed it."
"Hm. I guess my imugi carried a fraction of my Quirk was in them."
"Speaking of your Quirk. What exactly was it? We found little records of it and any that were found were destroyed by your mother and Nezu."
"Hm!" Galahad smiled. "Cathleen… Hm. When I return to Earth I think I will visit her grave. She is honor at a nice grave, yes?"
Midoriya nods.
"Yes. She was honored and buried in Alington."
"Hm. I should have trampled on the graves there. But I was in such a hurry to get off the planet."
"W—why were you in a hurry?" Baikayu asked.
"I am a Beast of Humanity. By my very nature I naturally seek the harm of humanity for their betterment. That does not bode well for them."
"But… you don't feel like that, I mean you are intimidating but—"
He unsealed it. His presence as a Beast of Humanity. Baikayu and Midoriya's very nature as humans they felt primal fear down to the marrow of their bones. Fight or flight instincts kicked in…
But the thought of doing anything never came to them. They were frozen in fear. What stood before them was a creature that they knew from feeling alone were an existence they were never meant to kill.
"I am different from them. I am Beast VIII while also being Type-Humanity. I am your worst and greatest existence."
They could see as Galahad's appearance began to change and grow more foreign… alien. What stood before them was a existence that has met, faced, killed, and eaten several other powerful lifeforms across the universe. Mélusine also partook in this and has grown as well.
The two forged a bond again similar to when they were a Master and Servant, as such Mélusine gains the boon of Galahad's Quirk, Status. As for Galahad he can call upon her whenever he wishes.
Seeing as they got the message he pulled everything back and returned to his normal appearance. Midoriya and Baikayu relaxed significantly now that the pressure from Galahad was lifted.
"I left in a bit of a hurry because if I stayed more than I did the Counter Force would have begun to send in their cleaners to get rid of me. Honestly it would have been such a pain in my ass to fight so many powerful people. So I left on my own accord."
"Then… wouldn't the Counter Force act should you return?" Midoriya said. "If I remember right, Sir Kischur said that it's safety mechanism formed by the collective unconsciousness of humanity and the planet Earth itself. Meant to respond to threats of planet destruction or threats of human extinction. They are always active, constantly steering mankind and the planet away from potential danger."
"You always were a studious one. Yes, Alaya, the human part of the Counter Force would possibly target me while the Gaia part would welcome me with open arms. Hm either case I can return to Earth and if Counter Guardians appear then I know Humanity has not changed. So, Midoriya, what brought you out?"
"I wanted to meet an old classmate, and to stop Goya from picking a fight. Honestly I didn't think my and Kacchan's descendants would marry."
"Hmm… shall we catch up on lost times? I have a lot of stories to tell." Galahad smiled warmly.
"I would like that! But um I should give Goya back his body, he is being rather noisy inside."
"Another time then."
They see as Goya's returned to his natural disposition.
"Tsk!" Goya clicked his tongue. "That old man took over so suddenly."
"When were you able to get possessed by your ancestor!" Baikayu shouted at him. "Are they listening right now!?"
"Eh." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Don't eh me!"
The food was eventually finished and served. Galahad made them some temporary rooms while Mélusine took them to the river inside the mountain. They get their drinking water up stream and use the water downstream to bathe.
They freshened up and were brought to their rooms where they rested. They rested until it was dinner time. Their they returned to the kitchen following Galahad where they saw the last member of the family.
"These are the visitors, Ekeniyere."
Baikayu and Goya look to see Ekeniyere. He shared his parent's charm and beauty. His eyes lit up seeing them.
"Ooh!" He came up to them with a big smile. "What are your names! I am Ekeniyere!"
He extends their hand for a greeting. Goya and Baikayu shook his hand.
"I am Goya."
"And I am Baikayu."
"Say where are your horns?" He looked at their barren heads. "Are you guys molting?"
"No, no." Baikayu shook her head. "Me and Goya are humans, a species from beyond the sky."
"Ooh! A human! Dad mentioned the species when he gives his lectures on space! Their very popular on the planet!"
The two humans look to Galahad.
"They know you and your wife are aliens?" Goya said.
"We are not aliens, the Dragon-Liners stem from me. After many centuries they no longer share any roots with me."
"You created the species!?" Baikayu blurted. "Do they know you did this!?"
"They kinda knew." Mélusine answered. "They saw him once and knew in their bones who he was. Besides none of them share any blood relation to him anymore. Galahad made sure of that when he thought of the possibly of inbreeding centuries ago."
"Everyone treats us well like their fellow neighbors!" Ekeniyere added.
"Ekeniyere." Galahad said. "You will be joining me, your mother, and the two her to Earth."
"Really!" He exclaimed turning to his father. "We are going to your and mom's home planet!"
"Yes for a kind of… vacation, I guess."
"The trip will take about a decade." Goya said to give them a idea on how long the trip would be. "Some of that required me and Baikayu to go into cyro-sleep for most of the journey."
"That is not an issue. I have examined your ship and determined I can shorten the trip to a single day."
"A day!?" The humans were surprised.
"That fast!?" asked Baikayu.
"He is just going to fold space like those wormholes." Mélusine said. "He uses them every now and again to travel between planets we visited before."
"You can—"
"Yes I can." Galahad cuts Baikayu off before she can yell again.
"He did it just recently to get some food to make everyone here some Earth cuisine!" Mélusine said while clapping. "Gal, you can go and get the stuff."
Galahad floated up and flew off through the corridors of the mountain. He returned with a large wicker basket. He placed it down and took out various foods and items to cook the food. From the arrangement the humans knew what this would be.
"You're going to be making ramen?" Goya said.
"Yes." Galahad replied. "And you're going to like it. I went and gathered some of the best tasting food across all the worlds me and Mel traveled to."
"Did you bring the stuff?" Mélusine asked.
"… Hah. Yes." He reached in and put down a glass bottle filled with a liquid so dark any light that hits it is eaten. "Abyss Sauce from Abdraver-4."
Ekeniyere stepped away from it.
"What is it?" Goya asked.
"It is the divine nectar of the gods!" Mélusine grabbed it and held it up preciously. "The greatest thing anyone can consume!" She then began to rub it across her face.
"It's basically an even stronger version of Soy Sauce." Galahad explained. "The saltiness is 100 times more than the salt in the sea of Earth. Very few creatures can even consume it. I and Ekeniyere have a good taste for Soy Sauce, but Mel is a whole other story."
Galahad went on ahead and begins to cook the food. As he cooked the scent made those waiting salivate a bit. By the time it was done Galahad only had to tell them to go on ahead and eat.
The noodles were perfect with the broth being delectable and the meats and veggies in it making it all the more delicious… they look at Mélusine's dish which was drowned in Abyss Sauce.
Soon after everyone went to bed and got ready to leave in the morning.
