Chapter 94 - Report 85- Epilogue, Galahad Bate (3)

In the morning Goya, Baikayu, and Ekeniyere got into the ship. Galahad picked it up while Mélusine flew close to him. With little effort he then folded space and soon enough they all appeared near the diminished rings of Saturn.

"Uwah!" Baikayu looked out the window in glee. "Saturn! We are really back in the Solar System!"

"Say…" Goya looked to Ekeniyere. "Can't you breath in space like your parents?"

Ekeniyere, who was looking out the window as well, looked back at Goya.

"One day. Mom and dad said I'll be able to do it when I'm older."

Tap-Tap~

They look to the other side of the window to see Mélusine flying, floating there. She points up ahead. Everyone in the ship look ahead to see Galahad floating out in the emptiness of space. They could see he was beginning to turn larger and larger, his body gained more and more blue scales till eventually they were a monstrous creature.

They were a creature at least the length of two Earths and the width of Mars. They had spider-like appendages, several pairs of feathered wings with scales like a fish with his horns twisting into the infinity symbol. The dorsal fins on his back glistened and shined like mercurial sapphires. Water come off him wrapping him like stripes of cloth, but due to space the water turns to ice, but that doesn't stop it from floating around Galahad as they cover him like shining gems.

Slowly an aurora began to appear, and Galahad was soon wreathed in it.

"Ooooh!" They looked in awe.

"Father's true appearance!" Ekeniyere exclaimed. "It's as grand as mom said it was!"

Mélusine began to push the ship towards Galahad. She eventually lands it on top of his head.

"You can come out now!" Her voice reaches the ship.

Goya and Baikayu tilt their head in surprise. Sound shouldn't travel through the void of space as it has nothing to travel through.

"Don't worry, Gal went ahead and made a barrier to keep oxygen in that he is producing. It's perfectly safe!"

They cautiously get out of the ship and step onto Galahad's head. Ekeniyere immediately began to run around.

"Whoooooaaa!" He said jumping around.

"This is amazing!" Baikayu looked around in awe.

"This is pretty cool!" Goya said looking around as well, admiring the sight.

They began to move, Saturn began to slowly grow distant. Mélusine came to them.

"We will reach Earth in a few hours. Gal just wanted to take his time and admire the Solar System for a bit."

For the time being they all enjoyed the sight. Ekeniyere ran around looking at everything. Goya went to the highest peak on Galahad's horns to look around and enjoy the sight. On the opposite end Baikayu remained by the ship admiring the sight of passing the planets from the ground level.

Mélusine was on the tip of Galahad's nose, rubbing it.

As they neared Earth more and more ships began to be spotted, along with it more signs of civilization. Humanity has colonized the moons of Jupiter, the moons of Mars and Mars itself with Venus losing its acid rain it became colonized with Mercury as well becoming colonized.

Humanity saw the one who casted them back to the age of stone and they braced themselves for it. They got ready for his arrival but as Galahad approached he suddenly disappeared.

All that was left was the spaceship Goya and Baikayu left on with one new passenger, Ekeniyere.

On the planet Galahad and Mélusine were on it already. Their first stop was the Knight Order of Galahad in South America, or what it used to be called.

Seeing Galahad and Mélusine the people of the now city named Crystal Tree City, from the massive tree in the center of the city that grew from his horn, were delighted to say the least. They knew who they were from the detailed drawings of the two main figures of the order.

"OH GREAT GOD YOU HAVE RETURNED!"

"OH GREAT LORD!"

"HE HAS RETURNED!"

They went along those lines. Galahad need only make a small gesture with his hand to quiet them.

"Have you all worked hard to follow the dream I left behind?"

He opened his hand and a crystal apple fell perfectly in his hand. The people gave a variety of answers. They all ultimately said the same thing:

"We tried as best as we can!"

He takes a bite from the apple and while he chews on it he expands his mind to encompass the Earth. He could see everyone and everything. He expands it farthest expanse of human territory.

Though some of the things he dreams to never happen is still happening he makes a wry smile as he swallows.

"There is still more cruelty happening. In the bowls of Mars, the molten lands of Mercury, the dangerous, clattering of the asteroid belt, even on Jupiter there is abuse as miners as young as ten years of age work to harvest gas."

One of the people who were on all fours, prostrating before them spoke with a shaken voice.

"T—then you will destroy humanity again?"

"… No. From what I have seen humanity has worked to get rid of this. They are not perfect but… they'll will reach it. You are on a good path that does not need to be reset. I am sure now that you know, you will handle this."

He takes another bite and smiles as he touches the tree. Circuits flow into it the tree and it grew even more magnificent.

"Keep walking the path. I look forward to next time I come."

Everyone immediately began to cry tears of joy.

"I'll go buy some soy sauce here on Earth." Mélusine said as she began to fly away. "I got some money from froggy to buy stuff."

"I knew you were going to buy some more. I will be visiting some people."

"See you later!"

They go their separate ways.

Galahad goes and visits the graves of Azure, her sister Cerluean, and Holy Shepherd since they were close to him. Azure and her sister were buried together. From the dates on the tombstones they died relatively close to one another. As for Holy Shepherd he died pretty old.

He did get a chuckle out of seeing that on their tombstones they read: "Farewell, Azure, my beloved sister. I miss your foul temperament already, you shit priest."

For Holy Shepherd's: "I could have done more if Azure was still around. Miss her horrible personality."

He didn't need to clean up their graves, they were very well kept. He did look around a bit more and found they had some decedents. They seem to also not get along with one another.

He soon left the place and went to visit his classmates graves. It didn't take him long reach it.

He made sure to leave behind something he remembered of his classmates. A mirror for Aoyama.. A cup of orange juice, which he pours onto Ida's grave. Some money for Uraraka, though the currency is no longer in use, though he family name did change to Midoriya. A black belt for Ojiro. A battery with a long life for Kaminari. A very manly overcoat for Kirishima embroidered with bold words, which he drapes over his grave. A flash drive of dance moves for Mina, her family name also change to. A lovely wooden statue of a dove for Koda, he always thought he was a soft and kind hearted boy.

A very sugary cake for Sato. A detailed picture of several Mutant type Quirk users living a better life now, though he never interacted much about him he did look into his past and thought this would make Shoji happy. A CD of the world's best artists for Jiro, he thought she would appreciate an old medium and playlist. A basket of healthy food for Sero, he mentioned he liked healthy foods once in class talking to a friend.

A very nice and edgy cloak for Tokoyami. A very unique fire with the hue and heat of his ice, he thought it would fit his duality rather well. A very high quality camera for Toru, he thought it would be ironically funny. For Bakugo he left a letter of challenge. For Midoriya… he left nothing as he was going to meet him later anyways. For the purple one, he left nothing, matter of fact he unmarked his grave. For Momo, he left a very high in calories food bar.

Of the classmates he met so far some of them married one another, and took the others family name. Midoriya, for example, married Uraraka, Mina married Kirishima, and Jiro married Tokoyami. That last one surprise Galahad.

As for Aizawa, he left some flowers and lavenders. And for Tsuyu… he left behind a newly made charm. He left it on her grave with some lilies.

"You have a wonderful descendants. I'll be sure your family lives prosperously."

He then leaves one last thing behind, a picture of the first time he met her and put it in a frame. Galahad remained there for a while as he lit some incense that smelled of petrichor. The rainy season was her favorite and ate some jelly, also her favorite.

Galahad leaves after a few hours to the last grave. When he arrives at Alington he finds Kischur there. He has not changed in centuries. He still wore the same clothes and looked the same.

"Hello there, Galahad." He said sitting cross-legged at Cathleen's grave.

"Hello, Kischur."

Galahad sits next to him.

"So care to tell me about your travels?"

"Sure. I have time." He smiles. "You look pretty good from last we met."

"Hmph. You seem to have grown as well."

He makes some drinks and hands them to Kischur. They drink at the grave while pouring some onto Galahad's mother's grave while Galahad tells stories of his travels across the stars.

Two days later and by this time everyone has heard of Galahad's judgment. In light of this they all began to work even more diligently to make his dream a reality.

Goya and Baikayu have long arrived on Earth. Along with Ekeniyere they were all treated very well for doing a good job, even more so as they found that Galahad found them worthy enough for his own son to look around Earth.

Mélusine eventually arrived and went with Ekeniyere to look around the planet she and Galahad were born.

Goya—now Midoriya took over for a while and had Mélusine tell Galahad where to meet. A small town in Japan by the name of Misaki Town. Thou borders are now gone on Earth the names they once were called remained for naming sake.

The town was highly advanced, yet it retained a traditional look to it. It could not be said to every town, but most kept their archaic appearance with modern amenities.

Galahad opens the door to a well-hidden pub to see Goya and the proprietress of the pub, Aoko. She has also remained the same, exactly like Kischur. Aoko noticed Galahad and made a small smile.

"Look at you." She greeted. "No horns?"

Galahad was in his human appearance this time. He wore normal clothes for the era which seemed more streamlined. He did attracted some eyes as he was still handsome, paired with his disposition he was very appealing.

"I wanted to speak with an old classmate. Miss Aoko."

"You remembered my name."

"Hard not to when you hardly look older than when I met you. Plus you were bright red with an ironic name."

"Magic will do that."

He comes over and sits next to Midoriya.

"So, Midoriya." He glances at him. "Are you a regular here?" He then looked to Aoko again. "Why are you running a bar?"

"Did it for today."

"She lost a bet to her sister." Midoriya added.

"Deku!" She gave him a smack with her wash cloth. "Bakugo would have covered me!"

Midoriya laughed a bit.

"Sorry! Sorry!" He pleaded sincerely before turning to Galahad. "So, Albert. I wanna hear your story!" He looked at him with those same glittering eyes. "Your travels!"

"Of course." He smiles back. "I told Kischur, might as well tell it again. Aoko, you should sit down. It'll be a long one."

"I'll be back in a moment."

Aoko left leaving Midoriya with Galahad alone.

"Say, Albert."

"Yeah?"

"Did you… did you ever thought we would be here?"

He didn't responded for a while. Then with a nod he replies:

"… Yes. Before I took the steps that I did, I did think of how I would be with everyone in class." He made an even wider smile, remembering fondly on a dream that would never be. "At least now, I could make one part of it true."

Midoriya smiled back at him.

"Should I tell you my story? It's not very long."

"Of course. We have plenty of time. Are you going to tell me how you and Uraraka got together?"

He flashed a smile.

"Of course!"

"Say, before you start, I wanted to ask… aren't you… angry at me? For what I did all those centuries ago?"

"Maybe at first. But I have seen and experienced a lot. Every now and again I would step in the shoes of my descendants and experience the world. Now centuries later, my hate has washed away. Replaced with wisdom and understanding."

"Funny how that works."

"Yeah. You know Shigaraki's children still hate you?"

"Really? Is it because I killed Seigfried?"

"Hm." He nods. "They call themselves the Glittering Blades."

"That's kinda cool."

"I am back!" Aoko came back with a stool. "So what did I miss?"

"I was just going to tell Albert about my life before he begins his."

"This really will be a long day."

The door opens, the bell rings and in comes Mélusine, Ekeniyere, and Baikayu.

"So this is where you were!" Mélusine came over and sat next to Galahad.

"Ooh! This place looks so old!" Ekeniyere said looking around.

"Ugh." Baikayu covered her mouth.

"You fine there?" Aoko asked.

"Yup… just a bit motion sick. Miss Mélusine moves so fast."

"Mel." Galahad looked to her. "I was just going to hear Midoriya's life story before I told him about our journey."

"Can I listen as well!" Ekeniyere said taking a seat as well. His eyes land on Aoko. "Hello there miss! You look as pretty as my friend back home."

Aoko made a cheeky smile. She reached out and patted his head.

"Aren't you a cute one." She looks to Mélusine. "I bet he gets it from you."

"Hehe!" Mélusine smirks.

Midoriya eventually gets to tell his story. It was a fairly long one. Yet as he spoke Galahad couldn't help but feel a bit… bitter. He could not help but imagine the possibly of drinking and talking with his classmates. But he had to settle for one.

Yet there was some sweetness at least to know there were some people around him that he could still eat and drink with after so long. He enjoys the laughter he shares with everyone, the arguments, the insults, the jabs, small corrections on what happened.

He felt normal with those mixes of complex emotions finally making him feel truly human at long last. Eventually it would be time for Galahad to tell his story.

When he did he smiles ear-to-ear as he told stories of his travels.
