'If I were in my half-human skeleton right now, I naturally wouldn't be afraid of this complete beast skeleton. However, I've now split off a part of my ghost fire's main body. My green rank is already one level lower than its cyan, and on top of that, the ghost fire in the complete beast skeleton is in the middle of leveling up.
This complete beast skeleton might be just like me, having possibly awakened some of its memories.
Pitting the weak against the strong is a gamble for a slim chance of survival. But the one I'm facing now... it's just too strong.'
Seeing the ball of green ghost fire about to flee, the complete beast skeleton's pale, dust-covered skull clacked open and shut. It actually abandoned its level-up process for the moment and turned to chase after her.
Its speed was astonishing; she couldn't evade it at all. In a flash, the portion of her green ghost fire that had split off was absorbed.
The beast skeleton gave its entire frame a triumphant rattle.
