Sure enough, they weren't given much time to rest. After a brief lull similar to the previous ones, another wave attacked.
They repelled five consecutive waves in the village, fighting until the sun in the Dungeon rose and set on the second day. Aside from earning points, they had nothing to show for their efforts. Even the group of people at the top of the mountain seemed to have vanished without a trace.
"Sister, should we search the village for any good loot before the sun completely sets?" Bella asked.
Master Veridian was genuinely exhausted by this point, but hearing Bella's suggestion instantly lifted his Spirit. "Let's go. We'll take a look around."
Faye Yardley paused for a moment before asking, "Do you think the good stuff might be right here in the house we're staying in? We should just start searching from here. That way, we won't miss anything even if it isn't."
