Faye Yardley wasn't someone who agonized over decisions. Since the Master wanted to go, they might as well. They would find out whether or not they could communicate once they got there.
However, before they could make a move, someone took the initiative to approach them. Admittedly, the appearances of these people had been severely eroded by the virus, rendering them incredibly bizarre. They stopped a little over two meters away.
The most normal-looking one among them, a lean man, spoke up first. "Hello. We technically met earlier at the top of the mountain. I'm Tyler, the chief of this village."
A polite smile graced Faye's face. "Hello to you too. Our team just arrived here today. I'm the captain, Faye Yardley." Noticing the others occasionally glancing at the food on the floor mat, she offered directly, "Would you like to join us for a bite?"
"No need. Clean food is far too precious; we don't have anything of equal value to trade for it."
