"Chief, look! They changed direction and are heading out of the mountain."
The village chief had naturally noticed that the epicenter of the commotion had shifted, no longer heading their way. Even though he didn't think they could actually make it all the way up here, seeing them deliberately change course after realizing people were present made him sigh.
"If we run into them next time, we should give them a hand."
