A sports car sped down the road, finally stopping in front of an abandoned warehouse.
A car door opened, and a woman in a red dress was the first to step out. She then walked over to the passenger side and helped an unconscious Sylvia Blaine out of the car.
Inside the warehouse, a woman in a blue coat paced back and forth, looking anxious and restless. What was startling was that her clothes and makeup were identical to Sylvia Blaine's.
At the sound of the warehouse door opening, the woman stopped in her tracks. Seeing who had arrived, her face lit up with joy.
"What are you standing there gawking for?" the woman in the red dress snapped impatiently at the person frozen in place.
Hearing the familiar, cold snap in her voice, the woman flinched instinctively. She hurried over and asked, "Sylvia Blaine is..."
Seeing the dried blood on the unconscious woman's lips, a crazed and faintly triumphant glint flashed in her eyes.
