Sylvia Blaine's brows furrowed at the woman's words. 'It looks like she was prepared for this, targeting me specifically. But I don't think I've ever seen her before.'
"Just who are you? We have no quarrel. Since you know who I am, you must also know that if you do anything to me, the Ashworth and Blaine families will never let you go," Sylvia Blaine said calmly, as if there wasn't a gun threatening her at all.
"It doesn't matter who I am. And while you and I have no quarrel, someone else has a deep history with you. You could even call yourselves old friends."
