Chapter 2 - The Day of the Competition

The competition day arrived. The royal grounds were beautifully decorated. A large crowd gathered—nobles, soldiers, villagers, and even children—everyone eager to witness the contest.

The target was placed at a considerable distance. It had several rings, with the smallest center circle being the most difficult to hit.

One by one, the expert archers stepped forward. With steady hands and sharp eyes, they released their arrows. Each arrow flew swiftly through the air and struck close to the center. The audience cheered loudly for every precise shot.

But as the competition progressed, it became clear that the archers were under great pressure. Some wiped sweat from their foreheads. Others took deep breaths before shooting. The fear of losing seemed to weigh heavily on them.
