The elevator doors slid open. Jing Meng felt herself lying on a gurney, being wheeled toward an unknown destination.

Jing Meng forced herself to stagger toward the elevator, only to collide with someone unexpectedly.
The man's tall, broad back felt like a solid wall. The impact made her nose ache and her legs buckle, nearly sending her to the floor.

The medical staff and bodyguards had reached the elevator. Startled, Jing Meng immediately ducked behind Pei Shiyi.
"Thud!"
The man raised a leg and sent a charging bodyguard flying with a single kick.

"There is no need. It was a small matter," Pei Shiyi replied flatly. He adjusted his cuffs and stepped into the elevator. Suddenly, his hand paused as he felt a small object in his pocket.

As his speech concluded, he signaled the staff to wheel out a waist-high robot.
"Now, allow me to demonstrate the new intelligent robot developed by Lingyun."
Pei Gong tapped the control panel and stepped aside with a smile, standing next to Bai Xi, who was dressed in a pure white gown. He was full of confidence as they waited for the robot to start.
The robot's instructions had been programmed long ago.
