Endless Chaos – Chaos Void Plane: The Path of Story

Chapter 14 – Clash of Narratives

The arena vibrated with power.

Scarlet energy swirled around Veyron like a storm of burning ink.

Across from him, wind spiraled around Raphael, faint lines of narrative light circling his body.

The entire arena had grown silent.

Even the spectators sensed it.

This fight was no longer a simple mismatch.

Something strange was happening.

The Crimson Knight raised its massive sword again.

Its armor expanded as more scarlet script flowed into its body.

Veyron's voice rang out confidently.

"My story has been refined for years."

"Every chapter strengthens the knight."

The crimson warrior roared and charged again.

This time faster.

Much faster.

The ground cracked beneath its steps.

Raphael barely had time to react.

The giant sword came crashing down.

BOOOOOOM!

Raphael leaped aside just in time.

The strike shattered part of the arena floor.

Fragments of glowing script exploded into the air.

Raphael landed several meters away.

"…Okay."

"That one almost got me."

The crowd laughed nervously.

Veyron smiled coldly.

"You should surrender."

"You only have one technique."

Raphael raised an eyebrow.

"You talk like this is a finished story."

He stepped forward again.

Wind began gathering around him.

The Dragon Slayer narrative inside his body burned brighter.

He could feel the crowd watching.

Imagining the battle.

Believing the legend.

And belief meant power.

Raphael lifted his arm again.

But this time…

He didn't attack immediately.

Instead, he spoke.

"The Dragon Slayer did not defeat the dragon in one strike."

The arena lights flickered.

The crowd leaned forward.

Raphael continued.

"He fought."

"He adapted."

"He grew stronger with every clash."

The glowing script beneath his feet began reacting.

The story was evolving.

Veyron's eyes narrowed.

"He's expanding the narrative…"

Caelum, watching from the stands, nodded quietly.

"He's writing the next chapter in real time."

Lina whispered.

"Is that normal?"

"No."

Raphael raised his arm again.

But the wind around him was different now.

Stronger.

Sharper.

"Dragon Severing Strike – Rising Gale."

He swung.

SKKKKRRRRRASH!!

A massive spiral of wind shot forward.

Not a single blade.

But a swirling storm slash.

The attack smashed into the crimson knight.

BOOOOM!

The knight staggered back.

Deep cracks appeared across its armor.

The crowd erupted.

"He upgraded the technique!"

"That's impossible during a duel!"

Veyron's calm expression finally cracked.

"How?!"

Raphael grinned.

"Writers improvise."

But Veyron wasn't finished.

Scarlet ink erupted from his floating book.

Dozens of glowing lines wrapped around the crimson knight.

"My narrative still has many chapters."

The knight roared again.

Its armor repaired itself.

Then expanded.

Two new arms grew from its back.

Each holding a crimson blade.

Lina gasped.

"That's cheating!"

Caelum shook his head.

"No."

"That's narrative expansion."

The four-armed crimson knight charged forward.

Four swords slashing at once.

Raphael jumped back.

Dodged.

Rolled across the arena floor.

The attacks tore through the glowing battlefield.

If even one strike landed…

It would be devastating.

Raphael wiped sweat from his forehead.

"Okay."

"This story just got intense."

High above the arena…

Inside a floating balcony hidden behind layers of glowing script…

Someone was watching.

A woman dressed in robes of shimmering silver ink.

Her eyes glowed with ancient power.

She watched Raphael carefully.

"Interesting…"

A servant beside her bowed.

"Lady Seraphel, should we intervene?"

She shook her head slowly.

"No."

"Let the story unfold."

She leaned forward slightly.

"That boy…"

"…might become something extraordinary."

Back in the arena…

Raphael stepped forward again.

The wind around him surged stronger than ever.

The Dragon Slayer legend burned brightly inside him.

Because the audience…

Was starting to believe again.

Raphael smiled.

"Alright."

"You brought four swords."

He raised his arm.

"But dragons had claws, wings, and fire."

Wind spiraled violently around him.

"Let's raise the stakes."

The arena lights flickered wildly.

The story was about to evolve again.

And the Clash of Narratives was reaching its turning point.
