Endless Chaos – Chaos Void Plane: The Path of Story

Chapter 20 – The Silver Knight

The wind howled across the ruined lands of Mythara.

Broken towers and collapsed walls stood like the skeletons of an ancient civilization. The land had long been abandoned by kingdoms and travelers alike.

But today—

Something new had arrived.

A figure in silver armor walked slowly across the empty plains.

Each step echoed with quiet determination.

The Silver Knight.

His armor shone faintly beneath the gray sky, engraved with symbols that seemed to glow with the power of a story itself.

He carried no shield.

Only a sword.

A sword that represented a promise.

A knight who would never fall.

Far away, inside the observatory—

Kael felt it immediately.

His chest tightened.

The manuscript on his desk began to glow again.

The words shifted like living ink.

Kael whispered.

"…He's moving."

Lior looked up from the chair he had been sitting on.

"Who?"

Kael slowly turned the manuscript toward him.

"The knight."

Lior's eyes widened.

"Wait… you mean the story is actually real?"

Kael leaned back.

"That's what I'm trying to figure out."

The glowing sentence on the page slowly extended.

More words appeared.

"Drawn by the belief of a child, the knight walked across the ruined lands toward the storyteller."

Kael stared at the sentence.

"…Toward me?"

He stood up quickly and walked toward the broken window of the observatory.

At first he saw nothing but fog.

Then—

A distant silver figure appeared on the horizon.

Walking.

Steadily.

Toward the observatory.

Lior rushed beside him and gasped.

"Is that him?!"

Kael nodded slowly.

"…Looks like it."

Hours later—

The heavy wooden door of the observatory creaked open.

Standing outside was the Silver Knight.

Up close, his presence was overwhelming.

He looked like a character that had stepped directly out of legend.

His eyes glowed faintly beneath the helmet.

Kael crossed his arms.

"So… you're real."

The knight lowered his head respectfully.

"My existence is bound to the story you wrote."

His voice sounded deep and calm.

Lior's jaw dropped.

"He talks!"

Kael scratched his head.

"This is getting weird."

The knight stepped inside the observatory.

His gaze slowly moved across the stacks of manuscripts covering every surface.

Heroes.

Monsters.

Worlds.

Destinies.

His eyes stopped on Kael.

"You are the Story Weaver."

Kael raised an eyebrow.

"I prefer writer."

The knight shook his head slightly.

"No."

"You are more than that."

He pointed toward the manuscripts.

"These stories carry the potential to shape reality."

Lior whispered in awe.

"So he really is powerful…"

Kael ignored the comment and looked directly at the knight.

"Alright then."

"If you're part of my story…"

He leaned forward slightly.

"Can you disobey me?"

The knight remained silent for a moment.

Then he answered.

"Yes."

Kael blinked.

"…What?"

"My story gives me purpose," the knight explained.

"But belief gives me freedom."

Kael slowly smiled.

"That's fascinating."

His stories were evolving beyond simple control.

They were becoming independent legends.

But before he could ask another question—

The ground suddenly trembled.

BOOM.

The entire observatory shook violently.

Dust fell from the ceiling.

Lior stumbled.

"What was that?!"

Kael rushed to the window.

Far across the forest—

A massive rift had torn open in the sky.

Dark energy poured out like a storm.

And from the rift—

Gigantic monsters began crawling into the world.

Creatures far larger than the Rift Beast from before.

The knight stepped beside Kael.

His hand rested on his sword.

"Those are not ordinary monsters."

Kael frowned.

"You recognize them?"

The knight nodded.

"They are drawn to powerful stories."

Kael sighed.

"…Of course they are."

Because something big had just happened.

His story had become strong enough to attract enemies from beyond reality itself.

Lior looked up nervously.

"What do we do?"

The Silver Knight drew his sword.

The blade shone like moonlight.

Kael picked up his pen.

And smiled.

"Simple."

"If monsters want a story…"

He began writing rapidly.

"Then I'll give them one."

The manuscript started glowing violently.

New words appeared across the page.

And the next legend began to form.
