Endless Chaos – Chaos Void Plane: The Path of Story

Chapter 18: The Story That Refused to Stay Fiction

Night covered the floating continent of Mythara like a dark ocean.

Inside the abandoned observatory where Kael had taken refuge, candlelight flickered across stacks of parchment.

Hundreds of pages.

All of them stories.

Some were unfinished.

Some were experiments.

Some were failures.

And some…

Were dangerous.

Kael sat at the center of the room, ink-stained fingers resting on a manuscript titled:

"The Knight Who Would Not Fall."

He had written it three days ago.

At first, it was just another test.

But now—

Something strange was happening.

Outside the observatory, a soldier staggered across the stone courtyard.

His armor was broken.

Blood covered his face.

Behind him, a massive beast crawled from the forest—six legs, iron scales, and eyes glowing like embers.

A Rift Beast.

The soldier collapsed.

"This… is the end…"

The monster lunged.

But suddenly—

A voice echoed through the night.

"Stand."

The soldier blinked.

Standing before him was a knight in silver armor.

The armor was old… ancient even.

Yet the knight's presence was overwhelming.

The soldier whispered.

"…Who are you?"

The knight raised his sword.

"I am the one who refuses to fall."

The Rift Beast roared and attacked.

Steel met claws.

The battle lasted only seconds.

One strike.

The monster split in half.

The silver knight turned… and then vanished like smoke.

The soldier stared in shock.

"…A miracle?"

Inside the observatory—

Kael suddenly felt a surge of power rush through his chest.

Mana flooded his veins.

His eyes widened.

"What…?"

The manuscript on the table glowed faintly.

The words rearranged themselves.

Ink flowed like living water.

Kael read the new line that had appeared.

"And so the knight walked the land, answering the call of those who refused to surrender."

Kael's heart pounded.

"No way…"

He hadn't written that.

The story had changed itself.

Outside, somewhere in the world…

Someone had believed in the story.

And the story had responded.

Kael slowly leaned back in his chair.

"…So it's true."

Stories didn't just create power.

They evolved.

The more people believed…

The more real they became.

Which meant—

His stories were no longer just stories.

They were living legends.

Kael looked at the growing stack of manuscripts around him.

Heroes.

Monsters.

Kingdoms.

Entire worlds.

And suddenly he realized something terrifying.

"If these become real…"

His voice dropped to a whisper.

"…Then I might accidentally create a catastrophe."

A small laugh escaped him.

"Or a thousand of them."

But despite the danger—

His eyes shone with excitement.

Because somewhere far beyond the Chaos Void Plane, another power existed.

The Path of Knowledge.

Another traveler was walking that path.

Kael didn't know who they were.

But instinct told him one thing.

Their destinies would eventually collide.

Story.

Knowledge.

Two paths born from the same Endless Chaos.

Kael picked up his pen again.

"If stories become reality…"

Then he only had one option.

He dipped the pen in ink.

"I'll write the greatest story this universe has ever seen."

And far beyond Mythara—

Deep in the endless darkness of the Chaos Void Sea—

Something ancient opened its eyes.

Because the universe had just felt it.

A new force had begun to rise.

Not a king.

Not a god.

But something far stranger.

The Author of Reality.
