The Fall of the Moon Flame
The battlefield stretched across two worlds.
The Human World burned beneath a sky covered in darkness, while the Moon Kingdom lay in ruins.
In the center of it all stood Arian and Luna, facing the Dark Emperor.
The Moon Flame floated between them, shining brighter than ever.
The Dark Emperor smiled.
"So... this is the legendary power."
"But every light has a weakness."
He slowly raised his hand.
A black crystal appeared above his palm.
The old wizard's face turned pale.
"No..."
"The Eclipse Crystal!"
Lyra looked shocked.
"Is that the forbidden relic?"
The wizard nodded.
"It can absorb the power of the Moon Flame."
Before anyone could react—
The Dark Emperor crushed the crystal.
A wave of absolute darkness spread across the battlefield.
The Moon Flame began to flicker.
Arian felt the Moon Heart losing its strength.
"Luna!"
She reached for him.
"Our power... it's disappearing!"
The Dark Emperor laughed.
"You cannot defeat eternal darkness."
He fired a massive beam of black energy.
Boom!
Arian and Luna were thrown through the air.
They crashed into the broken streets below.
The Moon Flame disappeared.
Silence.
For the first time...
Their greatest power was gone.
The Dark Emperor descended slowly.
He stood before them with a cold smile.
"Now tell me..."
"Who will save you?"
Arian struggled to stand.
His sword was cracked.
His body was covered with wounds.
Still...
He stepped in front of Luna.
"If you want her..."
"You'll have to go through me."
The Dark Emperor's eyes narrowed.
"So be it."
He gathered enough dark energy to destroy an entire city.
Luna looked at Arian.
Tears filled her eyes.
"No..."
"If he attacks..."
"You'll die."
Arian smiled weakly.
"If protecting you is the price..."
"I'll pay it."
The Dark Emperor unleashed the attack.
A wave of darkness rushed toward Arian.
At that exact moment—
Luna ran in front of him.
"No!"
She spread her arms.
The darkness struck her instead.
A blinding explosion shook both worlds.
"LUNA!!"
Arian's desperate scream echoed across the battlefield.
When the light faded...
Luna lay motionless in Arian's arms.
A single silver feather drifted through the air.
Her eyes slowly closed.
The Moon Heart on Arian's chest suddenly cracked.
And for the first time...
Its light went out.
The Dark Emperor smiled.
"Hope..."
"Has finally died."
