The Gate of Forgotten Souls
The battlefield was silent.
Only the sound of the cold wind echoed through the Valley of Shadows.
Luna stood alone, her silver sword glowing beneath the light of the three moons.
The Dark Prince smiled.
"So... you've finally come."
Luna pointed her sword at him.
"Tell me where Arian is."
The Dark Prince laughed.
"You still remember him?"
"How amusing."
He raised his hand.
The ground split apart.
A gigantic stone gate slowly rose from the earth.
Ancient runes covered its surface.
The Old Wizard's eyes widened in horror.
"The Gate of Forgotten Souls..."
"It actually exists."
Lyra stepped back.
"What is it?"
The Old Wizard answered in a trembling voice.
"It is the prison between existence and oblivion."
"Anyone erased by forbidden magic is trapped beyond that gate."
Luna clenched her fists.
"Then I'll bring him back."
The Dark Prince's smile widened.
"You can try."
"But once you enter..."
"You may never return."
Without hesitation, Luna walked toward the gate.
"Luna!" Lyra shouted.
"It's a trap!"
Luna looked back with a gentle smile.
"Arian crossed worlds to protect me."
"Now it's my turn to save him."
She placed her hand on the ancient gate.
The runes burst into golden light.
The Gate slowly opened.
Beyond it...
There was only endless darkness.
Thenā
A familiar voice echoed from within.
"Luna..."
She froze.
"Arian..."
She stepped inside.
The gate closed behind her.
Boom!
The entire valley shook violently.
Far away, the Dark Emperor slowly stood from his throne.
His crimson eyes narrowed.
"So..."
"The final chapter has begun."
Meanwhile...
Inside the Gate of Forgotten Soulsā
Luna wandered through an endless world of floating memories.
Fragments of Arian's past surrounded her.
His first day at university.
The night he found the Moon Heart.
Their first meeting beneath the three moons.
And at the very end of the path...
A lone figure stood beneath a glowing silver tree.
His back was turned.
Luna whispered with trembling lips,
"...Arian?"
The figure slowly turned around.
