The Forgotten Hero
The Moon Festival ended with laughter.
But when dawn arrived...
Something felt wrong.
Arian woke up with a sharp pain in his chest.
The golden Moon Heart pulsed violently.
Crack.
Another tiny fracture appeared.
He touched it, confused.
"What... is happening?"
Far away, in the Realm of Darkness, the Dark Emperor smiled.
"The spell has begun."
"His existence is fading."
Arian walked through the streets of the Moon Kingdom.
People passed by him.
None of them greeted him.
A young soldier bumped into his shoulder.
"Oh... sorry."
The soldier looked at Arian for a moment.
Then frowned.
"Who are you?"
Arian froze.
"You don't... remember me?"
The soldier shook his head.
"I've never seen you before."
A cold chill ran through Arian's body.
He rushed to the royal palace.
Lyra was training the royal guards.
"Lyra!"
She turned around politely.
"Yes?"
"It's me... Arian."
She stared at him.
"I'm sorry..."
"Have we met?"
His heart stopped.
"No..."
"This can't be."
One by one...
The palace guards.
The royal servants.
Even the old wizard...
None of them remembered him.
Only one person remained.
Luna.
"If anyone remembers..."
"It will be her."
Arian ran to the Moon Garden.
Luna stood beneath the silver blossom tree.
She smiled gently as she watched the flowers fall.
Arian's eyes filled with hope.
"Luna!"
She turned toward him.
For a moment...
She smiled.
Then her expression slowly faded.
"I'm sorry..."
"Do I know you?"
The world seemed to stop.
Arian couldn't breathe.
"No..."
"No..."
He stepped closer.
"It's me."
"We fought together."
"We laughed together."
"I promised I'd never leave you."
Luna looked into his eyes.
For a brief second...
A single tear rolled down her cheek.
"My heart..."
"It hurts..."
"But..."
She shook her head.
"I can't remember why."
Arian forced a broken smile.
"It's okay."
"You don't have to."
He slowly stepped back.
"If you're safe..."
"That's enough for me."
Luna watched him walk away.
Her heart pounded for a reason she couldn't explain.
She whispered to herself...
"Why does it feel..."
"Like I'm losing someone?"
High above the kingdom...
The Dark Emperor laughed.
"The Hero has been forgotten."
"And soon..."
"He will disappear forever."
But deep inside Luna's heart...
A tiny golden light refused to fade.
A memory...
That even forbidden magic couldn't completely erase.
