Lina practically pushed Alexander back out into the hallway.
"Wait here."
Before he could react, she closed the door firmly in his face.
"Give me a minute. I need to tidy up first."
There was a brief silence from the other side.
Then Alexander laughed.
He could still picture the panic on Lina's face when she had opened the door and realised what she had forgotten.
She had been so flustered that she had barely given him time to step inside before sending him back out.
For some reason, he found the whole thing incredibly endearing.
The Lina he knew in front of cameras was composed and confident. She knew exactly how to handle reporters, directors and difficult people. Even when she was under pressure, she rarely allowed anyone to see her lose control.
But in her own home, faced with an unmade bed and a few clothes left lying around, she had completely lost her composure.
Alexander smiled to himself.
He liked seeing this side of her.
He liked all of her sides lately.
