No sooner had Lina finished speaking than Lucien said, "Great. I was just thinking about going fishing too."
Julian immediately followed, "I'll accompany Lina wherever she wants to go."
Alexander's expression remained unchanged.
"I have no objection."
Lina stared at the three men.
"..."
For a brief moment, she wondered whether they had deliberately misunderstood her suggestion.
She had suggested fishing precisely because she thought at least one of them would find it too tedious and decide to leave. Instead, all three had agreed without hesitation.
She had effectively dug her own grave.
Still, since they had already agreed so readily, Lina felt too embarrassed to suddenly refuse. Doing so would make it look as though she had deliberately suggested fishing only to get rid of them.
She could only smile helplessly.
"Then let's go."
The four of them took a car to the fishing area.
