Lina gave an awkward laugh.
She had completely forgotten how to hold the golf club properly, and after several failed attempts, she was beginning to suspect that the sport simply did not like her. Julian, however, seemed determined not to let her give up so easily.
He walked over, took hold of her wrist, and moved behind her before placing an arm around her shoulders.
"I'll show you how to do it."
Lina nodded.
She adjusted her grip as Julian guided her hands into the correct position, then shifted her stance slightly. He explained each movement patiently, telling her where to place her feet and how to turn her shoulders rather than relying entirely on her arms.
Lina listened carefully. At least, she tried to.
However, before Julian could demonstrate the swing, a familiar voice came from nearby.
"I play golf better. Let me teach Lina instead."
Lina froze.
