Thankfully, Alexander Sterling was an easygoing person. Otherwise, Lina was certain that Dixon would never have managed to sign with Sterling Entertainment in the first place.
Hubble was also taken aback when he saw Lina.
The surprise on his face lasted only for a moment, but Lina noticed it.
Back then, Hubble had been one of the actors competing with her for a minor role. At that time, Lina had still been treated as little more than a pretty face with no real weight in the industry. She had been desperate for even the smallest opportunity, and Hubble had managed to edge her out of the role.
Now, everything had changed.
Lina had become Director Finlay's chosen third lead, a role with considerable screen time and enough depth to prove what she could actually do as an actress. Hubble, meanwhile, had needed connections just to secure a tiny part in the same production, a role that barely gave him a minute of screen time.
The contrast was impossible to ignore.
