Synopsis
I died. Without hope. Without love. And in fear. But now I have awakened in a world of heroes and villains. A world where the symbol of peace, All Might, protects millions… but cannot save everyone. This time, I don’t want to be someone who just watches. I don’t want anyone to ever feel the fear I felt again. --------------------_ Damn, you can tell this is my first synopsis, right? Well, I’d like to clarify a few things: -First, I’m a complete amateur at writing, so I use AI to correct spelling mistakes and also as an editor haha. -This is the first time I’ve written something seriously, so I apologize if the story has too many errors in the canon characters’ personalities. -The story is entirely mine and is not a translation. -And lastly, I don’t know why people write this, but I’ll do it too. The characters from My Hero Academia do not belong to me; the only things I own are the OC, their parents, and a few other characters. -The cover does not belong to me; rights go to the person on Pinterest who posted it.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 0:Prologue: The Void is Dark, Who Would Have Thought?

"Have I died?"

He felt a mix of emotions, fear, anguish, sadness and at the same time something of.... relief?, but why would he feel relief? He didn't know.

"Where am I?, who am I?, ah I can't manage to remember anything"

He had several questions but no answers.

He started to turn frantically around him and realized something unsettling he couldn't see anything.

No that wasn't the correct answer.

There was nothing.

Just a void.

Was this death? or his personal hell?

He couldn't say it for sure.

And suddenly something in his mind clicked and processed the information.

.

.....

.....

..

..

.

"Wait... I died"

The idea repeated in his mind again and again, as if he couldn't accept it.

How? When? Where?

The questions kept piling up, crashing into each other, but none could find an answer.

He didn't understand anything.

And even so.... there he was.

He didn't feel cold.

He didn't feel heat.

He didn't feel his body.

He tried to move or at least he thought he tried.

Nothing happened.

He was just there existing in a way he never thought to experience.

Time stopped making sense, he lost count when he tried to measure it, and the hours passed.... or what he thought were hours.

Until he noticed something, a point of light had appeared in the nothing itself.

It was strange

Something like that made no sense there.

Or so he thought.

Time passed.

The point was still there.

He couldn't take his eyes off it.

And at some point he stopped truly seeing it.

When he regained consciousness he realized something: the point had grown and now it was like a flashlight pointing directly at him.

He tried to look away but couldn't.

Until he saw it.

The void that surrounded the point, not the light, began to contract.

Without warning now the brightness flooded everything, blinding him in the process.

But he didn't have time to process it.

He felt how the light pulled him toward it.

Fear invaded him he tried to fight but it was useless he couldn't do anything , until the light completely wrapped him.

And he felt how he was being compressed.

How something pulled him from all sides at the same time, as if something

pushed him toward a narrow place.

He wanted to scream, but he had no mouth.

He wanted to cry, but he had no eyes.

The only thing he could do was let himself be dragged to wherever that thing was taking him.

And he woke up.

.

...

....

...

..

Or so he thought

When he began to hear sounds, he realized something those

were voices?

He didn't understand anything

damn he had spent hours without understanding anything and, that kept terrifying him.

After a few seconds he managed to identify them:

They were, two men and a woman.

When he recovered some of his sight the first thing he saw was a doctor pointing a flashlight at him

Was that.....the light he had seen?, wasn't he dead?

What is happening, why is that woman calling him son, w-why are that woman and that man calling him son?, why are they so worried about him?.

It-suku.... Itsuki?,

Who is itsuki and why do they call him that?

He doesn't know

he could only hear loose words. He was sleepy and had a headache that wouldn't let him think.

He said something about a blow and that there wouldn't be aftereffects.... serious ones?

He only managed to nod when the woman spoke to him, he was more focused on the pain.

The last thing he managed to hear before falling asleep was about a quik exam

What a strange word.

He woke up suddenly.

And the first sound he heard was that of an engine.

"Q-what happened?" he asked totally disoriented while trying to settle into the seat.

The woman he had seen together with the man and the doctor, was now in front of him, sitting in the driver's seat, and the man was in the passenger seat.

The woman had the rearview mirror adjusted in such a way that he could see her amber-colored eyes fixed on the road.

He saw how the man turned toward him.

"Ah" he sighed "I'm glad you woke up, son. You gave us quite a scare at the hospital, but luckily the doctor told us that sleep just got the better of you"

He didn't know what to do, more than a slight nod of the head, which made the man react visibly relieved.

He saw how the woman lightly tightened the steering wheel.

It wasn't a sudden movement barely noticeable, but her knuckles tensed before speaking.

"How do you feel?" she said in a whisper, loud enough to hear her.

He opened his mouth, but nothing came out.

He didn't even know how he really felt.

He averted his gaze to find what to say, until his eyes landed on his wrists.

He saw nothing.

His eyes opened slightly.

"I think I'm fine" he said at last

The woman let out the air she seemed to have been holding, and the man at her side relaxed his shoulders.

Seeing that they wouldn't ask him more questions, he stayed looking out the window, completely separating himself from the world around him trying not to fall asleep. He couldn't understand what had been happening, but for some reason.... he felt at peace.

The sound of the engine decreased little by little, until it shut off completely

There was a silence, short but strangely comfortable. In which he could glimpse his destination, a house.

Sleep was beginning to intensify

To the point that, when he saw the couple get out of the car he followed them in silence.

He responded with clumsy movements when they spoke to him, guiding himself more by his instincts than by his will .

His body felt heavy.

Too heavy.

Upon reaching an open room he didn't even ask, he simply lay down on the bed and didn't think, he just watched the ceiling while darkness covered him little by little.

Fatigue enveloped him and this time he didn't try to fight it.
