A soft arcane light glowed in the dim Eye of Eternity. A massive blue dragon, adorned with a crown, sat before Andreas and Onyxia, its piercing eyes fixed on them.
"Long time no see, Andreas Moonshadow. I have a premonition that you will bring me some surprises this time."
'What premonition?'
Andreas curled his lip. 'He just sensed his old friend's magic.'
Although he grumbled inwardly, Andreas, having governed for thousands of years, had long mastered the art of speaking to people in their own language and to ghosts in theirs. Reasoning with the deeply resentful Blue Dragon Aspect was clearly not a good choice.
"Your Majesty Malygos, it has been a long time. This time, I do have good news to tell you."
Malygos nodded indifferently. "Speak. I am listening."
Andreas tentatively asked, "Does Your Majesty Malygos still remember a blue dragon named Senegos?"
"Hmph~"
Malygos squinted down at Andreas. "It's because I sensed that old guy's aura that I'm patient enough to listen to your nonsense. Stop wasting time and get straight to the point."
Andreas shrugged, no longer playing coy, and recounted the situation of the Azurewing Repose and Senegos in full detail to Malygos.
Malygos: "..."
The Blue Dragon Aspect was unexpectedly silent for a while. Andreas, somewhat surprised, took the initiative to ask, "Your Majesty Malygos? Do you wish to..."
"Saragosa! Come in quickly!"
Malygos' urgent call cut off Andreas' unfinished words.
A portal appeared above the Eye of Eternity, and Saragosa's dragon head emerged from within.
"What is it? I'm currently educating Kalecgos with Chromie."
Andreas' mouth twitched. 'Poor battle-scared weakling...'
Malygos said impatiently, "Never mind that useless idiot. Immediately gather our kin and set up a new habitat in Coldarra."
Although Saragosa was somewhat puzzled by Malygos' impatience, the Blue Dragon Aspect's disdain for Kalecgos was not a new thing. She didn't bother to ask for the reason, nodding obediently in agreement, then withdrew her head from the portal.
"Let's go! We'll set off now. You tell me the coordinates!"
...At Azurewing Repose in Azsuna, Onyxia rolled her eyes helplessly, feeling the hostile gazes of the surrounding blue dragons.
Stellagosa tugged at the corner of her mouth. "Princess of the Black Dragonflight, please don't mind. These children are still young. Their perception of good and evil is very clear, and they don't quite understand the gray areas in between."
Onyxia looked at Stellagosa displeased. "How do I feel like you have a hidden meaning? What do you mean by 'gray areas'? Are you describing me?"
"Hehe~ Who knows."
Leticia, fearing no chaos, cheered from the side, "Fight, fight!"
Ceres smacked her friend on the back of the head, annoyed. "Stop stirring up trouble. What good would it do us if they really fought?"
Leticia replied self-righteously, "It's fun!"
Aurora pressed a hand to her forehead, speechless. "Is this person... really over 7000 years old?"
Shandris had spent the most time with Leticia and was long accustomed to it.
Glancing at Leticia seemingly unintentionally, Shandris said with a half-smile, "If you want to fight the Blue Dragon Aspect, who is extremely protective after losing most of his kin, then keep provoking him."
"Uh..."
Leticia was indeed mischievous and loved to watch a good show, but she didn't want to become the show for others.
Although Leticia's strength had grown considerably, and she was already considered a top-tier expert in the Night Elf Republic, facing Malygos, the Blue Dragon Aspect, alone... she had no chance of winning.
Even Deathwing didn't want to face Malygos at his peak. Even if his power had diminished due to the Dragon Soul, it would be no difficult feat to crush Leticia.
While Shandris restrained the boisterous Leticia, Ceres immediately began teaching Aurora, making use of the books they had acquired from the Nath's Academy.
Onyxia was furious from the hostile stares of the blue dragons and Stellagosa's sarcastic remarks.
"Little one, since you have an issue with me..."
Staring at Stellagosa, Onyxia raised a corner of her mouth and said provocatively, "Then let's have a fight. I'll let you have two front paws and your tail."
"Who's afraid of whom!"
Stellagosa, already annoyed, was quick to explode. She immediately transformed into her whelp form, ready to battle Onyxia.
Senegos' voice drifted over lightly, "A spar is fine, but don't go too far."
"Princess Onyxia, I hope you can show some mercy and let this short-sighted child understand the strength of other dragonflights."
Stellagosa's eyes blazed with fire. Her grandfather's attitude clearly showed he didn't believe she could win.
Onyxia rolled her dead fish eyes, looking at the little star in the sky, full of fighting intent.
'Where does this foolish child get the confidence to defeat an adult dragon as a whelp...'
The outcome was without suspense. Even with Onyxia holding back significantly, the difference in their physical strength alone determined the result of the battle.
"Boom!"
The black dragon, noticeably several sizes larger, pinned Stellagosa to the ground, snorted disdainfully, and asked, "Do you yield? You still have a long way to go. Don't think that what you've seen in Azsuna represents the whole world."
"How dare you! A mere black dragon dares to bully my kin!"
The sudden roar made Onyxia's entire body jolt. She hastily flapped her wings to take flight again, as a series of arcane missiles streaked past beneath her feet, almost hitting their target.
Then, a helpless voice advised, "Your Majesty Malygos, please calm down. They were just sparring and playing around; they weren't trying to seriously harm each other."
Stellagosa, who had just gotten up, personally witnessed a majestic blue dragon, even larger than her grandfather, emerge from the giant portal. Its imposing aura immediately subdued all the whelps and dragon whelps present.
Malygos' imposing aura didn't last long. Upon seeing the hundreds of blue dragons within the Azurewing Repose, his eyes practically glowed, and his breathing became noticeably more rapid.
"So many... so many dragon babies! Mine, all mine!"
"Eek!"
Stellagosa shivered, recoiling several steps in disgust as if seeing a pervert, and spread her wings to shield a group of trembling dragon whelps.
Senegos retorted with a venomous tongue, "Old madman, what are you trying to do? Have you been pent up too long and started to get desperate? Didn't Saragosa satisfy you?"
"Shut up! You old... stubborn one?"
Malygos turned to retort in exasperation, but when he saw Senegos' disheveled appearance, his voice involuntarily softened, and his expression grew heavy.
"...Old friend, was it worth it?"
"Hmph!"
Senegos scoffed dismissively, "Worth it? Of course, it was worth it. Especially compared to Coldarra, which you've turned into a mess, I feel that the hardships I've endured these past few millennia were absolutely worth it."
