One month later…
Time flies so fast. Ellen still longs to celebrate her wedding with her beloved husband. However, over the past few days, she's been feeling unwell. Every morning, she wakes up feeling uninspired, even though she wants to cook her husband's favorite breakfast.
Just like today, as she got out of bed, she felt a knot in her stomach. She covered her mouth with her hand and took a deep breath, exhaling slowly.
"Honey, what's wrong with you?"
Hearing her husband's anxious voice, she turned around and smiled faintly to cover her pale face.
"I am alright."
"But, you've been feeling nauseous lately. I can tell, actually."
Her eyes widened. "How did you know? I haven't even told you yet."
Flint sat on the bed for a moment, holding his wife's hands with a troubled expression. "As your husband, I know what's happening to you. Even if you try to hide it, you'll fail."
Ellen smiled shyly and lowered her head. "As usual, I'm the worst liar in your eyes."
