Jay POV:
I am feeling so nervous because tomorrow is our wedding.
I am at my parents' house, as my family said I should spend some time with them before the wedding, so I agreed.
I was in my room, checking my wedding dress, my heels, and my jewelry for the tenth time.
I rested my hand on my stomach.
"Finally, baby, tomorrow is your mama and papa's wedding," I said, and I felt a little—very little—movement.
I lay down on the bed, and my phone rang.
I picked up the call.
"Hello, baby," Keifer's voice came through.
"Hello, baby," I said.
"So, are you ready? Because tomorrow you will officially be mine," he said. I chuckled.
"Yes, I'm ready… and it seems like our baby is ready too," I said, resting my hand on my stomach and feeling my little baby bump.
"Yeah, I'm so excited for the baby. I've even started searching for baby clothes, food, and toys," he said. I chuckled.
We talked for a while and then ended the call. After checking everything one last time, I drifted off to sleep.
I woke up to a loud knock on my door.
"Jay, wake up! It's your wedding. Are you going to wake up late today too?" Aries said. I sighed and stood up.
I opened the door.
"Eat breakfast and get ready quickly," he said. I nodded.
I brushed my teeth and went downstairs. Everyone greeted me, and I greeted them back.
I ate a cheese sandwich with chocolate syrup while Kuya and Aries gave me weird looks.
"Why are you both looking at me like that?" I asked.
"Who eats a cheese sandwich with chocolate syrup?" Kuya said.
"Angelo, it's just pregnancy symptoms," Tita said. Aries sighed.
I finished breakfast, and then Tita and Mama helped me go upstairs and take my gown out of the wardrobe.
"First, take a bath. We'll prepare everything while you do that," Mama said. I nodded.
I went to the washroom and took a shower. After that, I put on a bathrobe and came out.
First, Tita did my hair, and Mama did my makeup.
Just then, my phone buzzed. It was a message from Keifer. I took a few pictures of myself getting ready and sent them to him.
He replied:
"Wow, Jay… I can't wait to make you Mrs. Watson."
I chuckled. Tita and Mama read the message too and chuckled.
I blushed a little.
After finishing my hair and makeup, they helped me put on my wedding gown.
After two hours of getting ready, we finally got into the car and soon reached the wedding venue.
After I went to the bride's room, Tita and Mama did some touch-ups. I felt a little tired, so I drank some water and rested.
Just then, Dad came in. When he looked at me, he froze.
Dad had not been home because he had been at the church, checking on the preparations.
He wiped his tears away. I hugged him and wiped his tears too.
He offered me his arm. I nodded and held onto it.
I took a flower, and the grand doors opened. I began walking down the aisle.
I looked at Keifer, who was standing beside Yuri.
Huh, even on our wedding day, Yuri didn't leave his side.
I sighed and looked at Keifer, who was smiling, his eyes filled with tears.
Soon I reached him. Keifer helped me onto the stage, and Dad placed my hand in Keifer's.
"Take care of her," he said. Keifer smiled and nodded.
"Always," he replied.
Dad stepped down, and Keifer held both of my hands.
"So, are you both ready for the wedding?" the priest asked.
We stood beside each other while the priest said the formal words.
Then we said our vows. People clapped, and we exchanged rings.
Keifer held my hands gently and whispered, "Are you okay?"
"Yes," I replied.
Then, together, we lit the candle.
After that, the priest raised his hand and sprinkled holy water on us.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," he said.
Keifer held my waist and pulled me closer. One of his hands lightly cupped my neck, and we shared a sweet kiss.
Everyone cheered around us. Then we all laughed together and ate lunch together.
Everyone congratulated us and gave us gifts.
After that, it was time to say goodbye to my family.
I looked at my family, who were crying. Dad and Kuya were trying to hide their tears.
I went to Dad and hugged him tightly. Dad burst into tears, and I held him close.
Then I pulled back and wiped his tears. I looked at Kuya and hugged him too.
Then I hugged Aries.
"Take care of yourself, monkey," he said. I chuckled and hugged him as he kissed my head.
Then I hugged Tita, Mama, and Lola.
After crying together, I said goodbye to them and promised that I would visit soon.
Keifer carefully helped me into the car. I sat beside Kerein, while Kegain sat in the passenger seat
I waved goodbye to my family through the window, and the driver started the car.
I rested my head on Keifer's chest.
"Ate, are you okay?" Kerein asked. I nodded.
Soon we reached the house. Keifer and Kegain helped me out because my gown was a little heavy.
Maids congrats us I thank them...
I went to our room. It was decorated a little—not too much, just enough.
I changed my clothes, and then Keifer entered.
"Baby, you should rest. It's been such a tiring day," he said.
I nodded and lay down.
Keifer came out of the washroom after changing his clothes.
He lay down beside me and pulled me close.
"We'll celebrate our first night after the baby is born," he said.
I nodded. We shared a gentle kiss and then fell asleep.
