Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: A Mythical Dragon’s Birth

Planet Sin.

The world ruled by the Sixth Dragon King.

After endless wars and oceans of flame, the warriors finally returned home.

The sky above Planet Sin slowly regained its purple glow, clouds shimmering as residual energy faded from the battlefield.

A dragon warrior flexed his clawed hand, smiling faintly.

"Hah… evolution really was worth it," he muttered. "We can speak, train, fight—control our power better than ever."

A female dragon beside him tapped his hand with her tail, winking playfully.

"If the war never happened," she said, "we'd never have reached this stage."

Before either could reply, space warped.

A senior dragon appeared before them in a flash of light, arms folded.

"Soldiers," he commanded calmly. "Report to the castle. Dragon King Sin demands the results."

The warriors straightened at once and teleported away.

The castle of Planet Sin stood like a monument of arrogance.

Its gates were forged from pure gold, guarded by elite dragons whose scales glimmered with lethal intent.

Inside, upon a throne carved from diamond, sat Dragon King Sin.

His crimson eyes glowed faintly as he rested his chin on his palm, smirking. His hair slowly spiked upward under the pressure of his power, and his massive tail swayed lazily behind him.

"So?" Sin asked. "We won the war, didn't we?"

A warrior immediately bowed, sweat dripping down his scales.

"Y-Yes, my Lord! Absolute victory!"

Sin burst into laughter.

The hall trembled.

"Well! As expected," he said proudly. "Our evolution has reached its peak."

His eyes sharpened.

"The fools who possessed the evolution spell… now it belongs to us."

He reached out and gently patted the head of a kneeling dragon girl.

"My pets do work well," he said calmly.

Then—

*Crack.*

He grabbed her horn and ripped it off effortlessly.

The girl trembled, biting her lip.

"I… I understand," she whispered.

From the shadows of the hall, the Queen watched.

Queen Monika.

Her silver hair fluttered in the faint wind, pink eyes filled with unease. She clutched her golden robe tightly, her heart pounding.

She turned away.

Toward the hatch chamber.

The hatch chamber was a vast hall lined with advanced incubation tubes, where young dragons grew safely within pipelines of energy and nourishment.

A dragon scientist smiled as Monika entered.

"Queen Monika," she said gently. "Your child has been born. He's safe."

Monika's face lit up.

"He's… born? Really?"

In the ancient era, dragons laid eggs.

But in this modern age, they gave birth much like humans.

Monika flew across the hall and landed before a single tube.

Inside slept a baby—peaceful, breathing through a mask.

But the pressure around him was… wrong.

Overwhelming.

Tears welled in Monika's eyes as she touched the glass.

"My child… I name you Ares. Please grow strong. I want to hold you someday."

As if responding, the baby slowly raised his tiny hand and pressed it against the glass.

A scientist suddenly stiffened.

"Wait… Queen."

She opened a power-level record.

The device shattered instantly.

*BOOM.*

A shockwave blasted through the chamber, shaking the tubes and rattling the hall.

Monika gasped. "What was that?!"

The scientist stared in horror.

"I… I don't understand. His power already surpasses Dragon King Sin."

She pointed shakily.

"Look—his tail. The scales… they're silver."

The baby slowly opened his eyes.

Silver eyes.

Glowing like distant stars.

Monika's face went pale. She collapsed to her knees, clutching her chest.

"No… no… why…?"

Flashback.

Sin stood on the balcony, his back to Monika.

"If anyone is stronger than me," he said coldly, "I will kill them. Even if it's my own child."

In the kitchen, Monika dropped a teacup.

"Why…?" she whispered.

Sin glanced at her once—his eyes lifeless.

"When I speak, it becomes law."

Her tears fell silently.

The present.

Monika looked at Ares, sleeping peacefully.

"This can't happen," she whispered. "I have to protect him… no matter what."

At the throne room—

Sin felt the shockwave.

For a moment, he froze.

Then he smiled.

"Oh?" he said. "So the child is born."

His grip crushed the arm of the throne, crimson flames bursting forth.

"A mere infant dares to surpass me?"

He stood.

"Erase him."

A soldier trembled. "My Lord… he is your son!"

"I don't care," Sin said coldly. "Obey."

The soldiers turned away in silence.

Behind them, the horn-broken dragon girl clenched her fists.

"This is cruel…" she whispered. "You're insane."

Sin raised his palm.

Flames roared.

"Silence."

She froze.

Far away—

In the depths of space…

A burning red eye slowly opened.
