A week later, it was New Year's Day.
This day was celebrated more grandly than Christmas.
Andrea Hayes, Shirley Sawyer, and Addie Sutton all traveled from their respective cities to Zenvia.
Everyone gathered together for a lively celebration.
A group of people, once strangers, had been brought together by fate.
Renee Jennings had booked a large private room big enough for thirty people, and everyone sat around a large, circular table.
Even the ever-busy Mr. and Mrs. Fuller were in attendance today.
This was something Michelle Fuller hadn't expected.
She had only mentioned it in passing the other day, not holding out any real hope. She never imagined her parents would actually agree and clear their schedules for the New Year's holiday.
Michelle Fuller held her glass, gazing at the lively scene before her. It all felt like a dream.
Zachary Conway noticed she'd been in a daze all evening and couldn't help but worry.
Just then, he felt a nudge on his elbow.
