They arrived in Crelou in no time.
Zia's mother wasn't around as Elara had expected, so she calmly walked toward their building. She dropped some of the things she had bought into the house and stayed in the garden for a while, quietly looking around.
The shrubs had grown taller than before, and the topiary sculptures were already beginning to lose their shape.
"My mommy wanted to hire people to help Grandpa trim them, but she didn't after all. She is too lazy sometimes," Zia muttered with a pout. Then she quickly tapped Elara's hand. "Elara, let's go back to the hospital. Grandpa will still be waiting for us, and if we don't hurry, he'll think we've forgotten about him."
Elara nodded at her words and turned to walk back into the house, already making up her mind to find someone who could help Grandpa take care of the garden after he returned home.
They left Crelou soon after.
