Synopsis
Aria Ashford transmigrates into her favorite romance novel—only to realize she has become a character inside a story she doesn’t even like anymore. The original female lead is too perfect, too righteous, and definitely not worthy of Aria’s favorite male character. Determined to fix the plot, Aria decides to find a better female lead for him. Unfortunately, her good intentions lead to misunderstandings, especially when the male lead’s brother starts believing that Aria is secretly in love with his brother. A light-hearted tale of comedy, chaos, and slow-burn romance, where changing fate turns out to be much harder than reading about it.

Chapter 1 - How could someone possibly transmigrate into a novel?

How can someone transmigrate into a novel?

"Yaar, is this a novel or some kind of fairytale?"

Aria, who had been sitting in her room reading her favorite novel, suddenly stood up in frustration.

"This was my favorite novel—and they completely ruined it."

Huff.

She let out a long breath and continued complaining to no one in particular.

"I really thought the female lead's character would improve at least a little. But improvement? Hah! Instead, she's obsessed with changing everyone else. As if she can't breathe unless she turns the whole world into saints."

Aria scoffed.

"At this rate, no one will even survive long enough to become 'better.' They'll die from her moral torture first."

She shook her head in disbelief.

"I seriously can't believe my favorite character has such terrible taste."

Then, lowering her voice slightly, she muttered,

"I wish… I really wish I could choose a proper female lead for you. If I did, Sera wouldn't even make it to the bottom of the list."

What Aria didn't know was that her wish was about to come true.

"🤕 Ouch!"

Something hit her head.

"Ah—why did the book fall down like that?"

Rubbing her forehead, Aria bent down to pick it up. But the moment she looked around—

She froze.

"…Wait."

Just a second ago, she had been in her small, cramped room.

So then—

Whose luxurious room is this?

Before she could process her thoughts, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed. A young girl rushed into the room and looked at her anxiously.

"Princess, are you okay?"

"…Princess?"

No response came from Aria.

A few seconds passed. The girl hesitated, then spoke again, more nervously.

"P-Princess Aria… are you feeling alright?"

Aria slowly raised her hand.

The girl immediately panicked and dropped to her knees.

"I'm so sorry! Please forgive me!"

The noise attracted others, and soon several people entered the room. Among them was a handsome young man who rushed forward worriedly.

"Sister, are you alright? How did you fall off the bed? You're not hurt, are you?"

Aria couldn't answer.

She stood there, completely stunned, staring at the unfamiliar faces.

Then suddenly—

A rush of memories flooded her mind.

Scenes, names, emotions—none of them hers.

Her breath hitched.

"…I see."

So that's why.

Regaining her composure, Aria spoke calmly.

"I'm fine. Everyone, please leave."

She dismissed everyone except the first girl who had entered the room.

Once the door closed, the truth settled heavily in her chest.

Aria Ashford — the eldest daughter of the Ashford Ducal Family.

And the boy who had just called her sister—

Jae Ashford, her younger brother.

Outwardly, Aria looked calm and composed.

But inside?

She was panicking.

Please… please tell me this is just a dream.

Yes. It has to be a dream.

Because in real life—
