Arcane: Thicker Than Blood

Piltover and Zaun are two cities separated by a single bridge - ironically called the Bridge of Progress. Above, Piltover shines as the City of Progress, filled with dazzling lights and prosperity. Below, Zaun suffers as an industrial undercity, poisoned by toxic waste and chemical fumes from above. And in the toxic Undercity, where children play in chemically-tainted puddles and industrial waste poisons the air, Cipher works tirelessly to transform his home's suffering into strength. Armed with his [Ready Player One] ability to adapt technologies and skills from different dimensions - particularly from the Apex world - he channels this knowledge into innovations that promise to turn Zaun's poisoned air into valuable resources, offering both jobs and hope to thousands of desperate citizens. But Zaun's transformation is as much about family as it is about progress. Caught between Vander's traditional values and Silco's ruthless vision for change, Cipher navigates complex loyalties that run thicker than blood. While Silco offers power through his newly developed drug Shimmer, and Vander fights to maintain stability, their conflict forces Cipher to choose between different visions of progress - and different definitions of family. ---------- ---------- I don't own Arcane. Kudos to Riot Games. Warnings: - AU - politics - Apex - slowish - likely romance - MC is sometimes ruthless - MC from Earth - MC cares about family Advance Chapters on p@treon: [email protected]/Malphegor If you'd like to support me but can't join P@treon, leaving comments or reviews is also helpful!

How to Survive as an Uchiha

A man reborn, more interested in his next meal than clan politics, finds himself caught in a power play that could reshape Konoha. Uchiha Masashi has seen it all before - literally. With memories of his past lives and abilities that shouldn't be possible, he'd rather perfect his combat skills than deal with clan drama. But when the newly appointed Fourth Hokage shows up with a proposal to unleash the Uchiha's power beyond their traditional police role, even Masashi has to pay attention. The clan sees opportunity. The village sees profit. Masashi sees the threads of fate that once led to his clan's destruction starting to weave again. As the Uchiha rush to prove themselves "ten times better than the Hyūga," Masashi walks a fine line between duty and survival. He knows too much - about the Nine-Tails incident that could destroy his clan's reputation, about young Shisui's tragic destiny, about the wheels already in motion. The question is: will he bother trying to change any of it? After all, in a world where even the strongest must sometimes bend to fate, sometimes the smartest move is to grab some dango and watch it all unfold. ---------- ---------- I don't own Naruto. Kudos to Masashi Kishimoto. Warnings: - AU - politics - powerful MC - "harem" (2 girls) - MC is sometimes ruthless - shadow clones are not almighty - will be revealed slowly as the story progresses - MC from Earth (never said he isn't, read between lines!) Rimsea: Rise of the Sand Mage (Hopepunk, Swashbuckling, Found Family)

A reincarnated sand-mage bonds with a memory-wiped System and sails into a permanent storm to find the impact that broke the world and woke the demons. ------------ In Rimsea, demons don’t come from hell. They crawl out of dungeons, eruptions where mana veins punch up from the core and split the land like glowing fault lines. Aydin survives his first fall on pure spite, and a sand-mage gift. He can feel sand like a current, compress it into spears, shields, and traps mid-motion, and turn grit into weapons. Suddenly he finds a sentient artifact, and the System finds him back. Her name is Violet. She doesn’t know legends, kingdoms, or demon history, only functions and warnings: do not die with me on your arm. Violet marks Aydin as a candidate host and starts showing him the world’s hidden structure. He sees Rimsea before it was a ring of coastal towns, when the planet still held advanced cities, crystal-lit towers, and skybridges that cut through storms. He sees the day Violet arrived, falling from the sky like a signal. He also sees what came after: a second impact, a falling star that turned colors as it dropped. When it struck, the planet cracked, the land folded inward, civilization vanished, and the sea rushed into the wound and never stopped raging. The crash site sits at the center of the Rimsea, sealed behind a permanent storm that eats ships and spits out nothing. Violet can’t tell Aydin what the System truly is, but she can tell him where the answers are: centerward. If Aydin wants to understand his powers, the demons, and why the world broke, he has to sail into that storm. Bad news: the old world is still running, and it wants what’s buried there too. Worse news: it noticed Violet came back online. ------------ Expect: Sand-mage combat you can feel: spears, shields, traps, and “current-grit” control that turns bad terrain into a weapon, with clean, readable action. Demon dungeons + System progression: dungeon outbreaks, escalating demon tiers, stats/skills/scan functions, and a System companion who only knows operations, not lore. Crewed sea adventure into the Storm Center: ports, ruins, relic-hunting, monster-haunted waters, and a big mystery pull toward the crash site at the heart of Rimsea. Violence/action is present, but the story stays adventure-first, not bleak. 5 Chapters a Week
