This chapter is where history bends—and heaven makes its first true mistake.

Betrayed by Heaven, Reborn as the Blade the Gods Tried to Erase

The God-Slayer's Requiem (GSR)

Chapter 12: When a God Descends, the World Holds Its Breath

The sky broke.

Not metaphorically.

Not symbolically.

It split—like glass struck by a hammer.

Golden light poured through the裂, carrying pressure so immense that knees buckled and bones screamed. Even the monsters froze, instincts screaming a single truth:

A god has arrived.

DIVINE MANIFESTATION

A figure descended.

Tall.

Radiant.

Wrapped in layered halos of law and authority.

Six wings of condensed scripture unfurled behind him.

Archon Seraphel, Voice of Iglesias

Executor of Divine Correction

His presence erased sound.

Students collapsed, blood seeping from ears and eyes.

Aurelia dropped to one knee, gasping.

"This… is a god's shadow," she whispered in horror.

"Not even his true body…"

Klai remained standing.

Barely.

THE SENTENCE

Seraphel's eyes locked onto Klai.

"Klai Valerius," the archon intoned.

"By decree of the God-King Iglesias, you are guilty of:

– Defying divine order

– Slaying sanctioned servants

– Spreading heretical techniques

– Corrupting a holy knight"

The sky thundered with each charge.

"Sentence: ERASURE."

Aurelia cried out. "Wait! He saved lives—!"

Seraphel raised one finger.

She was slammed into the ground by divine gravity.

MEMORY OF A PAST LIFE

Klai tasted blood.

The pressure felt familiar.

Too familiar.

So this is how it began last time, he realized.

The heavens deciding I'd lived long enough.

His heart pounded—not with fear—

But rage.

SYSTEM INTERRUPTION

[WARNING: DIVINE ERASURE PROTOCOL DETECTED]

[Godfall System—Emergency Authority Unlocked]

Klai's vision went black.

Then—

THE NULL EXAPNSE ANSWERS

A voice echoed from nowhere.

Ancient.

Fractured.

Furious.

"So… the little blade still lives."

The world stopped.

Even Seraphel stiffened.

"Impossible… That realm was sealed—"

Darkness bled into the air.

A sigil formed beneath Klai's feet—black, silver, and broken.

[FORGOTTEN GOD CONTACT ESTABLISHED]

Name: Morvane, God of the End That Was Denied

Status: Erased / Outlawed / Sealed

Contract Type: Mutual Vengeance

"Do you accept?" the voice asked.

Klai didn't hesitate.

"Yes."

THE FIRST CONTRACT

The sigil burned into Klai's soul.

Pain unlike anything he'd known tore through him.

But he stood.

Dark runes crawled across his skin—then vanished.

His sword changed.

The blade drank light.

Seraphel recoiled.

"You dare bind an erased god?!"

Klai lifted his sword.

"I dare."

BLADE VS DIVINITY

Seraphel attacked.

A beam of judgment descended—meant to wipe cities from existence.

Klai swung.

Not with strength.

With will.

The beam split.

The shockwave obliterated half the battlefield.

Students were thrown back.

Aurelia stared in disbelief.

"He… deflected a god."

THE PRICE

Klai fell to one knee.

Blood poured from his nose, ears, eyes.

His body screamed.

Morvane's voice whispered:

"You are not ready… but you are worthy."

Seraphel retreated, wings burning.

"This is not over," the archon hissed.

"The God-King will not ignore you now."

He vanished.

The sky sealed.

Silence returned.

AFTERMATH

The trial ended instantly.

Survivors were teleported out.

Klai collapsed—caught by Aurelia.

She held him tightly.

"Stay with me," she whispered.

"Please."

He laughed weakly.

"Looks like… heaven noticed."

IN CELESTARA

Iglesias stood alone.

The divine mirror showed Klai's face.

For the first time—

The God-King frowned.

"So the blade remembers how to cut."

And the demon realm takes interest.
