The next day. The entire S university was buzzing with activities. All the students were preparing for the upcoming graduation, rehearsals and practices were going on.
Alicia and Emily were discussing heartily as they headed towards the music room. Alicia could play a lot of instruments and she loved music very much.
There were many students in the music room. The moment Alicia and Emily stepped in they became the center of attraction. Emily the fair 5 foot 8 lady with a body like that or a model. Long wavy blonde hair and pretty round face. She had stunning blue eyes that made people want to stare at them forever.
Alicia the calm 6 foot lady with black long hair, brown eyes and a very curvy body. Alicia is very voluptuous. Making her the envy of many girls on campus. Alicia is putting on a short flowery-patterned gown that stopped above her knees, it was an off shoulder gown that was tight from the waist up and free from the waist down showcasing her beautiful figure.
Emily put on a pair of tight pants and sleeveless shirt. The girls in the music room eyed them with envy and the boys looked at them with admiration.
Alicia walked over to the piano and Emily to the guitar.
Alicia was pondering on what song to play when Derek walked in.
He went over to the microphone and started singing a song, he has a very beautiful singing voice. The song he was singing is one of Alicia's favorites, she knew the entire song by heart.
As he started singing, Alicia started playing the piano and Emily the guitar. Another male student walked over to the drum and started playing to the tune of the song. The entire music room fell silent as the beautiful tune rang in the air.
The song Derek was singing is 'All of me' by John Legend.
This version was so beautiful that when they finished the entire music room erupted in a thunderous applause.
"You should have studied music Alicia. You are soo talented." A girl commented.
"You would have been a star by now." Another student commented.
Comments flew in and Alicia nodded and smile to them.
Soon the students started to leave the music room one after the other for rehearsals. Exams were concluded few weeks ago and the students stayed back for the graduation.
After some time only Alicia, Derek and Emily were left in the music room.
Derek walked up to Alicia who was still sitting near the piano and said, "Hi Alicia, you played really well."
Emily excused herself and left.
"Thank you. You also sang beautifully too." Alicia replied.
" You will be saying goodbye to S university soon. How do you feel?" Derek asked taking a seat next to Alicia.
"Well, am a bit sad. I have many fun memories of this place and I feel attached. But there is a whole new world out there to explore so I am happy at the same time too." Alicia replied gently sliding her hands over the piano keys.
"Am really going to miss you." Derek said staring directly at her.
Alicia smiled and didn't say anything and instead asked him, "You're also graduating. What do you plan on doing after graduation?"
Derek saw through her dodging what he said and replied, "I plan to join our families entertainment company."
Derek's family were running one of the most popular entertainment industries in the whole of country S. And Derek is graduating with a honors in music and theatre arts.
"That's nice. I get to have a famous friend." Alicia said smiling.
Derek's expression changed for a split second before quickly returning to normal.
"Just a friend?" Derek asked with a sad smile on his face.
Alicia understood what he meant and felt bad for him but there is nothing she could do her hands were tied.
"Derek, I respect you very much and you mean a lot to me. You're one of the few people I have as close friends. But that's all you can be too me. Am sure you will find someone else." Alicia said turning her eyes away from him.
"I understand. And it will be an honor to be your friend Alicia." Derek said and stood up to leave.
"Am sorry," Alicia whispered, but it was loud enough for Derek to hear.
"There's nothing to be sorry about Alicia." Derek said and left, leaving Alicia alone on the music room.
Alicia sighed and wished she could help Derek, but it was out of her control.
She started playing a tune on the keyboard, it was 'on my way' by Jennifer Lopez.
She finished and thought she saw a shadow by the curtains, she walked towards it cautiously asking, "who is there?" Nobody answered. She opened the curtains and saw nothing.
Then she heard footsteps walking towards the exit of the music room. She turned around and saw nothing. She went to the door and peeped outside still she saw nothing. Maybe knowing about the existence of vampires is starting to get to her.
She picked up her bag and left the music room. She needed to pull herself together and forget this vampire stuffs for the main time. At least till her graduation is over.
As she walked towards her supervisor's office she heard a commotion near the gate.
She went to the gate and the reason for the commotion made her jaw drop.
It was the same man she bumped into at the bar back in Qasira. He is here.
Why is he here? Is he here to cause trouble? Alicia kept asking herself different questions and she began to sweat even when the weather is cool.
He was leaning lasily against his black Bentley, he is dressed in all black, but he wasn't putting on a suit this time. He only wore the suit pants and shirt. But he looked unbelievably handsome.
All the girls were screaming in excitement because it wasn't everytime they got to see someone so handsome in the school.
"Is he a celebrity? He is so handsome." Some girls commented.
"Please marry me." Another girl screamed loudly.
Alicia just stood there, her heart racing wildly in her chest. Her face paled.
As she looked up her eyes landed on his and they started at each other for a while.
Alicia averted her gaze. The school authorities heard the commotion and they came down to check.
As soon as the vice councilor of the school saw the man, he rushed over to greet him.
"Mr Thompson, you didn't tell us you were coming. We would have made preparations." The vice councilor said completely out of breath from running.
"I was passing by and decided to pay my old friend a visit. Am I not welcomed." He answered in a calm, cold voice.
"Of course you are. Please come with me." The vice councilor said and the man started to walk towards the school. His guards blocked anyone from coming too close. As he passed by Alicia her heart stopped beating for a second. She felt like her heart wo
uld burst any second.
He cast a quick glance at her before following the vice councilor to his office.
