She rushed to her room and avoided contact with anyone on the way. She isn't in the right state of mind to speak with anyone.
She opened the door to her room and thankfully Emily wasn't back yet, she dropped her bag and went to her bed. Her thoughts running wild.
She stared at the book in her hands and remembered what Malika had told her. But how could she accept a responsibility this huge? This was too much for an average girl like her to handle. She placed the book back in her bag and sat on her bed lost in thought. The events of the day kept on replaying in her head. She is already this confused finding out about the existence of Vampires, how would the other humans feel if they ever found out? And judging by what Malika and Tazamun said, that was the impending danger they where all trying to avoid.
She laid back, closed her eyes and the scene from the bar popped up in her head, she shook her head and tried to push those dirty thoughts off her mind.
Humans were also sexual creatures but vampires did it like it was something to boast about. They were being intimate in public like it was a TV show for others to watch.
Alicia slapped her head, she had important things to think about and here she was thinking about the least important of them all.
Her body was restless, she couldn't even find a comfortable position to think.
Then suddenly her phone beeped, someone had sent her text. She picked up her phone and saw an unfamiliar number with an unfamiliar country code.
It read, "Hi, it's Tazamun. We heard S university will be holding it's convocation ceremony next week. We also heard you will be graduating with a first class. I, Malika and Malik will be there to celebrate with you. Your new friend, Tazamun."
Alicia couldn't help but smile at the message, she wondered what it would feel like having them at her graduation.
She didn't have many family members who would attend, it was just her grandma and grandpa. Her parents died long ago in a car crash and she was left in the care of her grandparents.
She was only three years old when her parents died, so she didn't know them that well. But her grandparents took great care of her. She didn't know what she would do without them.
As she thought of them she remembered the impending doom that was approaching and her mood dampened.
She didn't want to think of how it anything was to happen to them. She couldn't hear the thought of it.
She was standing between the devil and the deep blue sea and she didn't know which one to pick.
She went to her bag picked up the book and opened it, it was still blank. So if she didn't accept the book would not be filled. Alicia is very curious to know the contents of the book.
Emily walked in and Alicia didn't even notice. Emily walked over to her and Alicia still didn't notice.
"Hello." Emily said breaking Alicia out of her reverie.
"Oh, you, you're back." Alicia said as she finally saw who walked in.
"Yes am back. What the hell were you thinking about?" Emily asked walking over to her bed and sat down to take of her heels.
"It's nothing. I was just thinking about the graduation." Alicia lied.
"Oh, okay." Emily said and let down her blonde hair that was originally in a neat ponytail.
"How was the party?" Alicia asked.
"It was cool. Nothing much happened. Derek asked of you." Emily said.
"Oh, seems like you had a good time." Alicia replied.
"Why don't you want to give him a chance?" Emily suddenly asked.
Alicia and Emily were really close and they shared a lot of things with each other. They didn't have much secrets between them.
Derek had been asking Alicia out sfor.as long as she could remember and Alicia always had an excuse to turn me down.
"I really don't want to give him false hopes. He is a really good guy and I respect him but that's were the feelings end, respect. I don't feel anything more for him and I don't want to decieve him." Alicia answered staring at Emily who had changed into simpler and more comfortable clothes.
"Hmmm, so do you have anyone you like?" Emily asked in that gossip tone she usually used when she expected big news.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't. Now to you, where is your boyfriend?" Alicia asked in return, Emily is the only person she could discuss so freely without hiding her true self.
"I don't have one. They don't match the standards." Emily said dramatically.
"What standards exactly?" Alicia asked playfully.
"Handsome, tall, sharp jawline. Devilishly cold." Email chattered away.
As Emily described her dream man, Alicia thought of the man she bumped into in the vampire world. He suited that description perfectly. Everyone in that place looked so drop dead gorgeous.
She wondered who he was? He had a powerful aura around him that commanded respect. She would ask Tazamun about him when next they met.
"Alicia?" Emily screamed
"Yes, yes am listening." Alicia answered, breaking out of her thoughts.
"What the hell do you keep thinking about, are you fantasizing about some man that I don't know off." Emily asked.
Alicia threw a pillow at her and they continued their playful banter.

At the Airport
"Welcome sir, we have been expecting you." A flight attendant greeted the man who had stepped out of the plane respectfully.
It was the man whom Alicia had bumped into at the bar.
He nodded coldly at everyone who greeted him and stepped into the Bentley waiting for him.
The driver closed the door and went inside the car to drive.
Inside the car the man loosened his tie and leaned back lasily in the back seat.
"Why are we here?" Another man who looked almost as handsome as him asked.
"I have business to take care of." The man answered simply.
"But you always sent Butler Zhou to handle them. Why come yourself?"
The mam rubbed his temples getting frustrated by the incessant questions.
"You can go back of you want." The man answered and the car fell silent.
As they passed by the S university sign board he opened his eyes that had been closed the whole time and a s
mall smile crept to his face.
He closed his eyes back and entered country S to attend to his business.
