Synopsis
Synopsis – Lilith’s Echo · Book I In a world scarred by ancient wars and gods who still watch from the shadows, Loki awakens without memories, without a voice, and without purpose. He doesn’t know who he is. He doesn’t know what he once was. He only feels an emptiness pushing him forward. Unable to speak, Loki communicates through gestures, glances, and uncomfortable silences. Yet his presence unsettles those around him: something about him does not fully belong to this world. Some feel fear. Others, a dangerous attraction. Few perceive the truth—within him sleeps something ancient, profound… the echo of Lilith. Throughout his journey, Loki joins a group of adventurers marked by their own wounds. Among them, he encounters camaraderie, distrust, and the weight of loss. As he faces monsters, ruins, and choices he doesn’t fully understand, fragments of memory begin to surface: violent visions, distorted laughter, impossible battles. Each fragment draws him closer to a truth he may never have wanted to remember. Loki does not kill for glory. He does not fight for justice. He fights because moving forward is the only thing he has left. Lilith’s Echo is not the story of a hero trying to save the world, but of a broken being searching for a reason to exist. And as the past calls from the abyss, a single question echoes in silence: What happens when you remember who you were… and you don’t like the answer?

Chapter 1 - Who am i?

The rain fell softly.

The sound of the droplets hitting the earth was the only thing breaking the silence of that forgotten place. A kid laid on what could barely be described as a bed: A heavily damaged wooden structure, covered in splinters and dust, that would creak under the smallest movement as if it was about to collapse.

Its pillow, blackened by dust and dirt, had long ago lost any trace of the white it once was.

The kid moved.

His movements were slow and heavy, as if his own body was just refusing to obey.

He opened his eyes with difficulty and scanned the environment with a lost gaze.

He couldn't understand.

He took both of his hands to his head and started breathing heavily.

—Where am i…? What…? Why the hell am I here?

His voice did not come out of his mouth. He screamed inside of his mind, seeking answers that would not arrive. The confusion enveloped him like a thick fog, accompanied by a silent fear that weighed on his chest.

Sudden dizziness forced him to shut his eyes.

—Hold on… —He thought— What is my name?

He opened his eyes.

—Who…am i?

The question was left hanging in his mind, resonating in an absolute void. He struggled to remember, clenched his teeth, tried to cling onto any memory, but… he found nothing.

Nothing.

Only darkness.

He frowned and let out a dry laugh.

—great… —He murmured— Can't remember my name, or my past… and I look like a vagabond.

He looked at his dirty hands, his ragged clothes, his inexistent reflection. This did not feel like a dream. It was real. Too real.

Suddenly, an attempt of a laugh escaped the little man… but his own throat refused to let it out.

—Laughing by myself… like a maniac.

He looked up.

The place was surrounded by withered, twisted trees, as if they had all died a long time ago. The ground was rocky and irregular, plagued with enormous rocks that rose like unnamed headstones.

—is this… a forest?

A piercing pain struck his head.

—¡Aghh…!

He fell on his knees, anchoring a hand on the ground while holding his head with the other.

—what… is… this…?

A single word appeared in his mind.

Inventory.

—Inventory…?

Without understanding why, he mumbled the word.

Before his eyes, a floating window materialized.

He didn't scream.

He wasn't surprised.

He just observed it, as if he was already familiar with something like this.

—Perfect… —He laughed— A magical vagabond that can't remember anything.

Then he saw it.

A glistening object in the window.

[Memory fragment]

His breathing stopped.

Something within him screamed that he should not touch it.

But despite that…
