Early the next morning, Bai Yue arrived at the airport together with several high-ranking figures from the Dojo of Limits.
Under their watchful gazes, he followed Yang Hui, the God of War sent by headquarters, through the security checkpoint. Moments later, the two disappeared down the exclusive passageway reserved for special personnel.
The massive, saucer-shaped passenger craft was already parked within the restricted area of the airport.
Climbing the boarding stairs, Bai Yue entered the cabin alongside Yang Hui.
"Mr. Yang, your seats are in the top-floor first-class cabin," the flight attendant said with a practiced smile.
Yang Hui nodded lightly, and Bai Yue followed.
The cabin interior felt almost surreal. The first-class area was circular in design, with seats arranged along the curve of the hull. At the center floated a projected three-dimensional hologram, its soft light shifting slowly, lending the entire space a dreamlike atmosphere.
They took their seats side by side.
"This should be your first time flying," Yang Hui said casually. "This trip is reimbursed by the Dojo. In the future, if you travel on your own, you'll have to pay out of pocket. Tickets aren't cheap these days—though for you now, it's probably nothing."
Bai Yue laughed helplessly. "You're exaggerating."
A low rumble echoed through the cabin as the engines activated. Moments later, the craft lifted smoothly into the sky.
More than an hour later, the passenger craft descended at Hong Ning Base City.
The moment Bai Yue stepped out, his eyes widened slightly.
The entire base city was built in a traditional architectural style—pavilions, towers, artificial mountains, and flowing gardens interwoven harmoniously. It was elegant, grand, and serene all at once.
Yang Hui explained as they walked, "During the Great Nirvana Era, the Head Curator personally led people to establish a refuge here. Many survivors fled to this land. Over time, it grew into what you see now. As long as the Head Curator is here, Hong Ning Base City remains the safest place on Earth."
Bai Yue silently took it in.
Among the world's five major forces and twenty-three base cities, Hong controlled one outright. Combined with the global spread of the Dojo of Limits, such authority was unquestionable.
But in the end, all of it rested on a single foundation—
absolute strength.
Soon, the vehicle arrived before a building shaped like a colossal spacecraft. Following Yang Hui, Bai Yue entered without delay.
He already knew the purpose of this trip.
Hong wanted to see him.
The tea room on the top floor was quiet and refined.
Hong sat calmly, black hair and black robe blending seamlessly with the tranquil space. A teacup rested in his hand. When Bai Yue entered, Hong lifted his gaze and gestured for him to sit.
"To be so young, possess such strength, and even create techniques like Moon Step…" Hong said slowly, setting down his teacup. "You truly surprised me. That is why I had Yang Hui bring you here."
"The Head Curator flatters me," Bai Yue replied respectfully. "Compared to your legends, my achievements are insignificant."
Hong shook his head lightly. "This meeting is not only to see you, but also to reward you—for releasing the body-refinement technique to the public for free."
"There's no need," Bai Yue said sincerely. "As an orphan, I benefited from society's protection and resources. Giving back when I'm able is only right."
"You don't need to refuse," Hong replied calmly. "Your task right now is simple—grow as fast as possible. That alone is the greatest contribution to humanity."
After taking another sip of tea, Hong continued, "You may freely choose any cultivation technique from the Dojo. In addition, you'll receive one branch of dragon blood to accelerate your physical improvement."
Bai Yue was momentarily stunned. "Isn't that… too valuable?"
A single branch of dragon blood was worth eighty billion hua xia coin. Even with his recent income, buying one outright would be painful.
"If I give it to you, then take it," Hong said lightly. "You deserve it. You're cultivating World Annihilation, aren't you? How far have you gone?"
Bai Yue answered honestly, explaining his insights and his independent deduction of the fourth layer.
Hong's eyes brightened.
"I didn't expect such talent in martial technique comprehension," he said, genuinely impressed. As the creator of World Annihilation, he knew better than anyone how difficult that was.
"With your level of force exertion, training you step-by-step in the Elite Training Camp might actually be a waste," Hong continued. "You're already qualified to guide others. Your only shortcoming is cultivation time—your physical fitness still needs polishing. Dragon blood will fix that."
He paused briefly.
"How about this. You'll enter the training camp as a martial technique instructor. You may use all equipment freely. When you have time, guide the students—but your priority is your own growth. When you hit a bottleneck, I'll arrange the next step for you."
The decision was final.
Bai Yue stood and bowed. "Thank you, Head Curator. This arrangement is ideal."
For someone who was neither kin nor disciple to receive such treatment, Bai Yue truly felt the breadth of Hong's character.
"Being an instructor comes with some convenience," Hong added, "but you'll miss certain rewards. Some resources you'll have to purchase yourself. Given your income, that shouldn't be an issue."
"That's only fair," Bai Yue replied. "And regarding the income—I still need to thank you."
Hong smiled faintly. "Let Yang Hui take you to the training camp. Someone will contact you about the rest."
Outside the tea room, Yang Hui was already waiting.
They departed together for the Elite Training Camp.
The moment Bai Yue passed through the camp's gates, his gaze locked onto a colossal sculpture ahead.
A black dragon, nearly fifty meters tall.
Its eyes alone carried an overwhelming pressure, as if endless darkness pressed down upon the soul.
Each scale of the dragon doubled as a display screen, listing names and rankings.
No. 1: Reinatusbridge (530321)
No. 2: Chu Qiang (540601)
…
"Originally, your name would've appeared there," Yang Hui said with a chuckle. "Didn't expect you'd become an instructor instead. This place is full of troublemakers—subduing them won't be easy."
Bai Yue smiled faintly. "Only strength convinces people."
Yang Hui laughed. "Come. I'll show you your residence first."
They headed deeper into the camp's villa district. Curious glances followed them, but no one approached.
The villa assigned to Bai Yue was a refined two-story building in traditional style. The interior was simple and antique—no television, no modern decorations—though a laptop was thoughtfully prepared.
"This will be your place," Yang Hui said.
Bai Yue nodded, satisfied.
After a brief rest, Yang Hui continued showing him around the camp.
A new chapter of his life had officially begun.
