[The Vault of User 001 - Inside the Dyson Sphere]
Luna's void blade flashed. The two powerless Cosmic Auditors didn't bleed when she beheaded them. They simply shattered into millions of glowing white pixels, leaving behind two more golden administrative cores.
Alex picked up the cores, immune to their restrictions now that the localized physics belonged to him. He tossed them to Elena. "Deposit these," Alex ordered.
Elena, still processing the fact that she was an unregistered 'Anomaly' immune to the universe's code, caught the cores and slotted them into the offline Genesis Crucible.
[Precursor Network: Deposit Recognized.] [+20,000 Universal Shares (U-Shares) acquired.] [Current Decentralized Balance: 25,000 U-Shares.]
"Boss," Valerius lowered his plasma rifle, looking at the red, glitching sky above the Dyson Sphere. "We killed the tax collectors. But the Board's 'Hostile Takeover' protocol is still active. The sky is literally deleting itself."
"Dawn," Alex turned to his holographic terminal. "Status of Sector 0."
"The God-Tycoon System remains locked, Sir," Dawn replied, her voice now emanating from the Precursor terminal instead of Alex's watch. "The Board of Directors is initiating a 'Sector Delisting'. They are classifying Sector 0 as a toxic asset. In exactly 48 hours, the cosmic garbage collector will wipe this galaxy from the servers."
[The Shareholders]
"They can't beat me on the ground, so they're just turning off the server," Alex adjusted his cuffs, his Tycoon's Aura radiating cold fury. "Cowards. Dawn, what exactly are 'Universal Shares'?"
"U-Shares are the Tier-4 equity of the universe, Sir," Dawn explained. "The Board holds 51% to maintain their monopoly. The remaining 49% is traded among 'The Shareholders'—higher-dimensional entities who fund the Board. They treat the multiverse as a casino, betting on the rise and fall of civilizations for entertainment."
"Entertainment," Elena whispered, horrified. "All the suffering... the wars... it's just a TV show to them?"
"It's a spectator sport," Alex's eyes narrowed. He looked at his decentralized balance. 25,000 U-Shares wasn't enough to buy 51% of the universe. He needed billions.
"If the Shareholders want a show," Alex smiled a predatory, chilling smile. "Let's give them a blockbuster. Dawn. Connect the Crucible to the Tier-4 Omniversal Market. Bypass the Board's regulatory filters."
[Connecting to the Omniversal Dark Exchange...] [Connection Established.]
A massive, golden holographic ticker tape materialized in the center of the plaza, displaying the market caps of thousands of different dimensions.
[The Cosmic IPO]
"What are you doing, Alex?" Elena asked, standing close to him.
"I'm raising capital," Alex typed furiously on the holographic keyboard. "The Board is trying to quietly delist us. I'm taking us public."
[System Prompt: List a New Asset?] Asset Name: The Pantheon Group (Sector 0 Rebellion). CEO: Alex (User 009). Co-CEO: Elena (The Anomaly). Business Model: The complete and total Hostile Takeover of the Board of Directors.
"Dawn," Alex ordered. "Initiate an Initial Public Offering (IPO). Issue one billion shares of Pantheon stock. Starting price: 1 U-Share per share."
"Sir," Dawn warned. "If you list a rebellion as a corporate asset, you are inviting the Shareholders to directly observe and bet on our survival. The Board will be furious."
"That's the point," Alex slammed the 'EXECUTE' button. "Make it public."
[The Viral Launch]
Across the higher dimensions, alarms rang out on the trading floors of the Gods. A Class-0 human had just bypassed the Board, hacked the Omniversal Exchange, and listed a company whose sole stated purpose was to assassinate the universe's developers.
For ten seconds, the market was dead silent.
Then, the ticker tape in the Dyson Sphere began to spin so fast it sparked. The Shareholders—bored, infinitely wealthy, and absolutely craving chaos—saw the IPO. They saw the footage of Alex buying the physics of a room and executing Cosmic Auditors.
They started buying.
[Purchase: 100,000 Shares - Entity 'Zarok the Gambler'] [Purchase: 5,000,000 Shares - The Void Consortium] [Purchase: 10,000,000 Shares - Anonymous Whale]
The stock price shot up from 1 U-Share to 5, then 20, then 100.
[System Alert: IPO Successful.] [Pantheon Group Market Cap: 150,000,000 U-Shares.] [Decentralized Capital Raised: 50,000,000 U-Shares (Liquid).]
Alex looked at the red, deleting sky. The deletion process suddenly halted, frozen by the influx of investor capital. The Board couldn't quietly delete Sector 0 anymore—too many powerful Shareholders had just invested in it.
"Well, Elena," Alex smiled, looking at his newly funded war chest. "We just became a publicly traded rebellion. Let's go buy some physics."
