Maetel teleported us to the Holy City and a halo screen flew up in my face, it was from Jace, Jakob's twin brother.

I frowned and lifted my hand to reply but Jace and Jakob appeared in front of me. They were grinning identically. I stepped back and they inched closer. Seth shifted in front of me and looked at the twins with a look.
"What are you two doing here?" Seth asked dryly.
"Well, you see…" Jace scratched his cheek with his finger.
"Maetel summoned us here with a few of your Knights, your Highness." Jakob slapped a hand over Jace's mouth and smiled brightly. "Jace was against disobeying orders, but uh, you see… a g-god asked for help and well, we really shouldn't say no."
I raised an eyebrow with a pained look on my face. I wasn't really happy about potentially losing any of my people today against some arrogant wanna be god. I heard Ry sigh and Auri looked up at me. I was also not happy about putting Seth's little girl in danger either. I mean, she's a Pylae and all, but like, she's ten. I shielded my eyes and looked up at the sky. It was fairly sunny out. Seth could draw water from the clouds if needed. I then looked around as we were right where we fought Kinnarus last time. The area was quiet and cleared of people. Jace was punching away at his halo screen and then folded his arms in thought. Jakob was chatting away about his journey here to the wind and Auri was holding Seth's hand. Lucas materialized next to us and he ran his hand through his hair.
"Kinnarus tried interfering with my teleport here." Lucas sighed and then looked around. "Where are the guards?"
That was my question as well. It was way too quiet and well, this is very stereotypical to a novel line that it's gross. Where are the people? Lucas pulled up his halo screen and I looked over his shoulder. He was accessing the admin menu looking for the people who have Aetherial powers, their location. Dots began popping up on his map and many were nearby. I grinned painfully. I was right, they really are following the laws of a B rated book.
Seth was spinning a dagger in his hand and then tipped his head and looked at me. I nodded and he sighed. Seth looked around and tapped Auri's shoulder.
She slammed her foot down and the dead began to rise out from the ground. Auri pointed with her finger and growled, "Find them." Auri said in a cold tone. Her subjects took off running and in seconds I heard shouts as they made contact with the people of Solaria.
'The People of Solaria will bleed for their god's sins and with this blood, a new foundation will be formed.' Avalorne said in my head. 'Call it a cleansing. Things need to bleed for flesh to heal. Just like a body, Solaria will heal and have its own rebirth.'
But where is their god? You would expect Kinnarus to be front and center. As things started, there has been no movement from their deity and or the church guards. Call Valoria heartless as we are attacking innocent bystanders… but are we really just attacking bystanders? Seth's eyes were glowing, meaning he was tapping into his gifts. What is he planning on doing? Jace tapped my back and his face came into view.
"Jolly day, isn't it boss?" Jace smiled with his lips and eyes, "Jakob here has your knights ready to go."
I turned and I saw the Order of the First Knights with a few of the Second Knights armies, men and women. I smiled lightly. I feel bad for whatever Solaria is going to provide as defense. Valoria is not called the realm of Saints and Warriors for nothing. All of these people before me are Aetherials. Trained for years, hours upon end.
A system panel flew up to my right and I turned my head to read it.
『 The god of Life eyes you with hostility. 』
『 The god of Life will punish you for what you have done to their people. 』
『 The god of Life wishes for you demise. 』
I choked in a laugh. What are these indirect messages? This reminded me of a book I read when I was in my teenage years but I just couldn't remember what the name was. I closed them and looked up at the sky and glared.
"Well? Are you just going to keep hiding behind your people and watch them die or are you going to show your face and get this B rated book a solid combat scene?" I yelled.
That of course got their attention.
'Successor of Creation. You're unwise to make an enemy of me-'
"Oh really? I would have never guessed that would be one of your opening lines to our conversation." I raised my hand to my chin and looked at Seth and wrapped my arm around his shoulders, "Man, I really should have done more than just read the whole library in the castle when I was younger." Seth looked at me startled and he opened his mouth to speak but I cut him off by shoving a bread roll into his mouth from the pouch on my waist. He made a noise and I chuckled.
There was silence for a while then Kinnarus spoke, 'You talk a lot.'
"I know I do. It's one of my most charming features about me." I winked at Jace and Jakob. They both gave two thumbs up as to say, good job boss!
A gust of wind brushed our faces and Kinnarus, in Lucas's form appeared before us. 'You aim to kill me.'
"No duh." Ry face palmed, "Your Highness. Cut the formalities."
I looked at him, "You know Mr. Allen. You're right. That seems like a very good idea." I looked back at Lucas's doppelganger. Their facials changed into alarm. For a minor god, they don't seem that confident. Too bad we aren't here for negotiations. I almost felt bad for them. I unhooked myself from Seth and drew my sword. "Aetherials of Valoria! Go for the throat!" My Aetherial army charged past me and ran straight for Kinnarus.
