That got the guards to back up. Gold, that's the color that non human species bleed, that are primarily tied to divinity. Seth was staring at his hand also in as much shock as the guards. He was shaking. Lucas peaked around to see what we were all staring at and he too froze. This doesn't make any sense. Why would Seth bear the blood that primal beings have? I've seen him bleed before. No one could just turn into a primordial life form.
The guards backed away even more. Turning a blade on a primal life form is considered a sin and us people of Valoria just did that very thing to their own god but the people of Solaria would do no such thing unless their own god willed it. Seth blinked a few times and Lucas and I backed away.
He glanced at us multiple times and blinked again, "Wait! It's it's… This can't be true."
Lucas whistled, "are you sure about that Seth? Because with all of the abnormalities happening with you, I wouldn't doubt it."
"But, I'm human." Seth scratched his head in frustration.
Ry and Auri began walking over to us as the commotion settled down pretty quick. They glanced at us then to Seth.
"They're saying that there's another deity here, I think Solaria is about done with this chaotic mess that they've given up."
I mean, I would too. I don't blame them at all.

We settled down at Lucas's place and decided to cool off and relax. Avalorne has been absent ever since Kinnarus died. Lucas came back in with tea and set it down on the table. Auri went outside to play with her fox while Ry, Lucas, myself, and Seth decided to all talk. Seth didn't look too keen on talking as he seemed to withdraw and close himself off.
"Seth." I called out to him. He was leaning on the table and was swirling his cup absently. "We can't just keep putting this off."
"I agree." Lucas nodded.
Ry sighed, "As much as I want to, we really can't."
Seth sighed, "The night I talked to Maetel. He told me some stuff."
Us three glanced at each other and then looked at Seth.
"Which was?" I said stressed.
"Some stuff about my past…" Seth pushed his cup away, "The stuff Maetel told me would only confuse you all more as it has already deeply confused me."
"Could you like, you know, tell us?" Ry grumbled.
Seth sighed again, "I can wield two elements, which isn't that abnormal. Ry, you are an Auxilium as well as a Halosis. I however am an Aetherial with two elements."
"Yeah, but dual wielding elements is unheard of, that we know of." Ry snorted.
Seth rolled his eyes, "Thank you, Ryan Allen, for stating the obvious." He said snippy.
"Point being?" Lucas butt in.
"I have no idea." Seth shrugged, "Maetel said I'm to walk the face of Lunoris and figure out myself. Which I'm not keen on doing, since I work for his Highness."
I wasn't too thrilled about that idea either. I frowned in thought. Seth has had multiple instances in the past with abnormal things happening to him, but it was so subtle that I didn't think too much about it. He's gifted in understanding healing techniques that even the most experienced Auxilium's have trouble learning. I just thought that his mother was an Auxilium, but over time, he's the only Aetherial to ever sprout from that family line.
Don't call me weird, but I've done my fair share on exploring Seth's background out of curiosity. Most Aetherials come from a line of previous Aetherials, whether it be one of the parents or their grandparents. Someone in the blood line has had to have been an Aetherial for future generations to become one. It's kind of like genes. The stronger the gifts, the more likelihood of it being passed down and so forth.
Seth on the other hand is overly strong, and for him to have come from no line of previous Aetherials is just enough to draw attention. His family in the past served my family as servants. However, my grandfather let them pursue their own lives out of generosity and gave them a place to stay. Seth's family is full of wonderful kindhearted people and seeing my guards go after his mother like that made me very angry when I came across that information.
Lucas looked at me and sighed, "I've tried contacting Maetel ever since we got out of the church grounds. He hasn't answered. I mean, maybe after he gained his full Authority back, he's back to isolating as normal gods do." He shook his head, "I could only act as his vessel for so long anyways. Without proper establishment between both parties, it can damage the host."
Seth narrowed his eyes, "The god I met when we met that Astorian Dragon, it seemed to have a vessel too, but… that vessel looked like me."
"Huh?" We said in unison.
"Does Seth have a doppelganger like I did?" Lucas sat back.
"No.. no. That god said they liked using my form because we are similar." Seth opened his hands, "I don't understand them because I don't see how we are identical at all."
"You mean the god who gave you that pendant you can't get rid of? Could you try resonating with it to see if you can call them?" I said flatly.
Seth took hold of his pendant and looked at it, "I think it's just a normal necklace if I'm being honest."
"There is no way that a thing given to you by a god is normal." Ry said dryly.
"He's got a point." Lucas nodded.
The door closed and Auri came over with her fox. "Foxy said he wanted to tell you all something."
We looked at her demonic fox. It floated over and stood on the table. It looked at Seth and said, "Whatever you're thinking about is wrong. Okay? You can't keep making excuses for things you can't explain. Raetrix has casted its gaze this way and is telling me that you need to travel to Novaria to see them. Raetrix also has said that it's on your time to visit and they have all the time in the world as you do too."
