The monster kept charging towards Arch. He would dodge, but the monster didn't give him time to take a breath. The human girl's face—the one with a mouth full of human hands—tried to go on the offense, rushing him with her large, building-like head.
Arch didn't dodge this time. Instead, he delivered a left hook toward the head of the monster. BANG! His left fist met the cheek of the monster. The girl's human face was forced back like it was nothing, but the woman with blackened eyes didn't care at all. She charged, using her fingernails like claws.
Arch didn't have time to dodge this time, so he put his arms together, forming a defense. The sharp nails scratched Arch's arms.
"Heyyy, girly, that hurts!"
After saying those words, he bent his knees, charging forward toward the monster's main body. When he was near its chest, he saw the skulls on her chest light up. A black, tongue-like appendage shot up from the skulls' fully opened mouths. Arch was almost hit by the surprise attack.
This forced him to retreat, but the monster's eight hands didn't make it easy. In this desperate situation, Arch's eyes were still relaxed and composed. After dodging the barrage of attacks, he was finally out of the range of the unique monster.
"That was quite the pain," Arch said. "So, you're an aggressive one."
The bizarre monster unleashed a long, annoying scream: "KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHKKKKKK!"
After screaming for about thirty seconds, the strange monster stared down at Arch. Then, with a creepy smile showing its sharp teeth and the wide grin reaching ear to ear..
What's with that smile?" Arch asked. "Did you perhaps fall in love with me? Oh my goodness, how should I reply?" Arch asked himself, maintaining his relaxed posture.
But before he could think of more strange ideas and stories on how a monster and a human would mate, a colossus-like shadow covered the entire shrine.
Seeing the shadow figure on the ground, Arch looked up and he saw unique monsters once again. "Well, well, well... Hey, girly, we just met, and you're already calling for your family?" he said while looking at the increasing numbers of these bizarre monsters.
They all had human-like faces and long black hair, all had eight long arms and a long black tail, and on each of their backs, they had a human face with its mouth full of hands trying to come out.
"Hey y'all look the same, so who's girly's parents? Please raise your right arm, the one on the very top arm," Arch said.
And for some reason, a slight blush appeared from 'Girly's' face. "Did she just blush?" Arch muttered to himself.
The gathered monsters towering over him were all dumbfounded; no one moved until Arch used his Devil Fruit ability. He activated his ROOM and then he shouted to the thousands gathered monsters "Hey, it's nice meeting y'all. Next time, I'll visit you again, okay?" He gave them a thumbs-up.
"Oh wait, I'm Arch D. Newgate. Y'all can call me Ark. Well, I gotta go..."
He then chanted, "SHAMBLES!"
Before the monsters could process what the hell that was, Arch and the snake-fox were no longer there.
Arch used his ability to swap himself and Foxxy with some rocks at the entrance of the shrine. He was sure that those monsters wouldn't come out from this red log entrance of this shrine; while he was fighting 'Girly' earlier, he noticed how she deliberately avoided those logs with red color on them. That's why he was confident that those monsters wouldn't dare to come out from this shrine.
"What an odd experience," he concluded.
Arch looked back at the entrance of the shrine. He couldn't help but ask himself a question again. In his past life, the Kibi region wasn't fully elaborated on in the Wano arc. Did these creatures really originate here in Kibi? Or were they a product and creation of this new world? Or was this a butterfly effect again?
Mehhhhh..... who cares? Definitely not me. Or maybe... you?" He pointed his index finger at the snake-fox beside him. The snake -fox was still drinking the soda using its snake tail to hold the the bottle while the fox mouth was bitting on it.... "Well, let's keep going...
ARCH: Wait a minute Hey.. sytem give me the golden compass!!!!
