Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: HYBRID ?

In a flicker of blue light, Arch and the snake-fox vanished from the surface, swapping places with the debris below. They materialized instantly in the heart of the buried structure.

The air was heavy, smelling of ancient dust and stagnant time. As Arch looked around, he realized the "mountain" he had felt earlier was even more impressive from the inside.

"Gurarararara... so this is what was hiding under the dirt," Arch remarked, his voice echoing off the orange stone walls. "Watch your step, Foxxy. This place looks like it could cave in if I sneeze too hard."

The snake-fox sniffed the air, its fur bristling. It didn't seem interested in the architecture; its eyes were locked on the dark corridor leading toward the back of the temple.

As Arch and the snake-fox walked inside, they saw that the orange walls of the temple were covered in carvings. Using the system interface like a flashlight , he examined the artwork. One carving showed humans holding spears , though the image was ruined and fading. He moved toward the end of the wall where the scene changed: carvings of dead bodies appeared, with a massive claw descending from above. He looked up, but there was nothing else—just carvings of clouds at the very top.

ARCH: Hmm this looks like some history shit...The Beginning of the wall was Humans holding spears and this usually represent a civilization that was prepared for battle or at peace with its strength but.....

In the middle part of this wall was "ruined" sections and the sudden appearance of dead bodies suggest a catastrophic event or a war and it looks like they didn't win...and in end of the wall is a big claw descending from the sky its like the "antagonist" of this story and Since it's descending from the clouds this must ne the threat that killed those dead carving.. hmmm..A Claw Arch muttered.

"Now, that... that is something," Arch rumbled, his voice echoing against the ancient orange stone . "A claw descending from the sky ? Gurarararara!"

He turned to his companion, his eyes gleaming with curiosity. "Hey, Foxxy , let's move. Let's see if that massive presence I sensed with my ROOM is just a hollow statue or something else entirely." Another burst of laughter , "Gurarararara!" filled the hall as they stepped deeper into the darkness toward the center of the temple.

They continued deeper toward the heart of the dim temple . When they reached the center, they found a colossal statue 🗿 standing guard. It gripped the hilt of a sword, pointing the blade straight toward the heavens . The figure was bizarre: it possessed the snarling face of a fox with razor-sharp teeth and a body clad in thick, ancient armor . From its back, nine massive tails unfurled, yet its powerful physique was unmistakably human.

"A hybrid..." Arch muttered, stepping closer to the orange stone base.

Arch stepped closer, his head tilted back to take in the full scale of the twenty-foot monument. The orange stone seemed to glow faintly in the dim light of his system interface.

"So, Mister Hybrid, what's the story here?" Arch asked.

Even though it was just a petrified statue, it felt like he was addressing a king . The sheer presence of the figure was suffocating; even in stone, it radiated the aura of someone who once possessed overwhelming power. Standing at the base, Arch looked like a mere insect compared to the armored giant.

"Gurarararara! You were a big deal, weren't you?" Arch chuckled

The golden light surged down from the blade, racing through the fox head and over the armored limbs until the entire twenty-foot figure glowed like a miniature sun. With a deafening BANG, the stone sword slipped from its grasp, slicing into the temple floor with ease and burying itself deep in the orange stone.

Cracks spider-webbed across the statue's surface as the petrified shell began to peel away, revealing a body that pulsed with sudden, ancient life.

"Gurararararararararara! I knew it from the start when I sensed this place," Arch roared, his laughter shaking the very foundations of the temple. "When I sensed your form and that presence... the will... your fucking will! I knew it... just like Ryuma! Gurararararara!"

The temple walls trembled as the hybrid's voice tore through the silence. It wasn't just a sound; it was a physical weight, vibrating with the authority of a forgotten era.

The hybrid's hoarse, commanding tone filled the chamber: An ancient voice can be heard.

"Zhuzho-uo zho-shu zhe-zre zui-zhfur zhi'tiz zhup-zhpozhw-zer–zharr zhuzho_uo zhowzher-zhetty."

Arch simply raised an eyebrow, a cocky smirk plastered on his face. "Who fucking cares about that shit?" he spat, his hand tightening into a fist as white light began to crackle around his knuckles. "Come fight me, Lets fucking fight...Hybridoo-san... GURARARARARARARA!"

What Arch didn't realize was he was speaking the ancient language itself, all this time .The System had analyze the writing in the cube and old scroll before And with the help of the system Arch did learn the ancient writing while he was inside of the underground for 8 years, and he could pronounce the words but with some accent,he could even write the ancient writings in other words his proficient with the ancient language he just really doesn't notices it or perhaps he really didn't care about such trivial things.

Without even noticing, Arch wasn't speaking his usual tongue—he was fluently responding in that same ancient, guttural language.

So yehhh..all this time, after they leave the underground he was using the ancient language like it is his first language. This explained everything. It's why the "monster girl" who Arched named GIRLY suddenly blushed and why every other creatures inside the shrine understood what bullshit he was talking about..
