Arch looked down at the swirling, cold patterns of the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami. The weight of the fruit felt different than a normal one—it felt ancient, heavy with the responsibility of a land that had forgotten its own protector.
He looked back at the shattered murals on the orange stone walls, seeing the carved depictions of a colossal wolf-deity standing tall against ships and armies that looked like ants at its feet.
"So the carvings on the walls were all about you," Arch muttered, his voice echoing in the hollow chamber. "Those humans... they were just invaders to you. And as the Guardian Deity of this place, you had to crush them all by yourself... heh."
ARCH: now That's some legends backstories.....gurarara
He turned the fruit over in his hand, a look of genuine curiosity crossing his face. "But can you really grow that big? Big enough to play with the sky..."
Arch paused, the cold skin of the fruit pressing against his palm. He looked at the shattered remains of the temple and the deep furrows where Kyukon had stood his ground.
"The Hybrid used Armament Haki," Arch muttered, his brow furrowing. "In this world... is Haki common? Or is this just another
The thought weighed heavy on him. It was one thing to change a person's fate, but to imagine an entire island, an entire history, and the very laws of combat shifting because of his presence... it felt like the world was molding itself to challenge him
He knew that with his Whitebeard Template, awakening his own Haki was only a matter of time. And if this world truly operated like the one he knew—where Haki reigned supreme and only the strongest wills could stand at the top—then his path was clear.
"GURARARARARARARARARARARARARARA!"
His laughter boomed, shaking the orange crystals until they hummed. The worry vanished, replaced by a predatory heat in his red eyes.
"So, more strong opponents are waiting for me? Giants who can coat their blades in darkness and deities who can freeze the air? GOOD!"
He gripped the Inu Inu no Mi so tightly that the air around his hand began to vibrate. He wasn't afraid of the Butterfly Effect; he was going to ride the storm it created.
Arch activated his ROOM the blue dome expanding instantly to the surface. With a sharp "Shambles," he vanished from the dark abyss and reappeared amidst the ruins of the upper temple.
The air was still, but the "Snake-Fox" was gone. Arch narrowed his eyes and pushed his sensing ability to the limit, extending the reach of his ROOM until it mapped every corner of the sanctuary.
Near the massive central pillar—the very spine of the carved history he had seen earlier—he caught a flicker of movement. The little fox was there, frantically scratching and digging at the earth behind the orange stone.
In a blink, Arch teleported right beside the creature.
"Hey, Foxxy! What are you digging for?"
The fox jumped, its fur bristling, but it didn't run. Arch looked down, his sensing ability already telling him what lay beneath. His brow arched in surprise; he could feel the distinct shape of an object buried deep, but it made him wonder—how did this little creature sense something hidden beneath ancient stone?
The little snake-fox yipped in triumph, its small paws pushing away the last of the orange silt. There, nestled in the dirt like a buried star, lay the object.
It was a perfectly symmetrical triangle, a miniature pyramid no larger than the palm of Arch's hand. Even in the dim light of the ruined temple, the object seemed to hum with a hidden warmth. On each of its three faces, a sun was intricately engraved—the rays fanning out with such precision that they looked like they were dancing.
Arch stared at it, his curiosity piqued. "A sun on every side... what kind of treasure did you find me, Foxxy?"
Arch watched in stunned silence as the snake-fox's tail—a massive, 18-foot serpent—lunged forward. With the speed of a whip, the snake's jaws unhinged and snapped shut over the Solar Keystone. It swallowed the ancient pyramid as if it were nothing more than a piece of hard candy, the object sliding down its long, muscular throat until it settled in the creature's belly.
"Gurararara! Well, that's one way to keep a treasure safe," Arch chuckled, unfazed. He trusted the creature's instincts.
He then reached into his coat and pulled out the glowing Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami. The frost from the fruit misted in the air.
"Anyway, I was looking for you, Foxxy. You see this?" Arch held the swirling blue fruit toward the creature's nose. "The old man left this behind. Do you want to eat it?"
The reaction was instant—and not what Arch expected.
The fox's ears flattened against its head, its eyebrows shot up in pure revulsion, and it wrinkled its snout as if Arch were holding a piece of rotten meat. Even the 18-foot snake tail pulled back, hissing and baring its fangs in a "disgusting" face that mirrored the fox perfectly.
Arch froze, the fruit halfway to the creature's mouth.
"What? You don't want it?" Arch blinked, a cold sweat breaking out on his neck. "Wait... with that look on your face... Gulp... Foxxy, have you eaten a fruit like this before?"
