Ren and the rest had gone through the city in search of Yira. They had spent hours looking for the hot-headed dragon cub, but to no avail. There was no sign of him anywhere.
Evening soon arrived, and they still couldn't find him. Ren and the beast babies didn't plan on going back to sleep unless they found Yira. They were determined to stay out all night searching for him.
But Zuran suggested they go back and get some rest. He pointed out that rest was vital for them if they wanted to continue their search later on. He said that wherever Yira was, he was certain the cub was okay.
Ren nodded in agreement to his statement, and they decided to head back, hoping to continue their search the next day. Ren was already exhausted. Ever since he lost his powers, he easily felt weak and tired. He was completely mortal now, so he expected that.
And so they began making their way back to the inn where they had spent the previous night.
