There was a moment when Ren's colleague at work had left him with two of her kids to look after. She had left for a business meeting. Ren couldn't say no to her even though he had loads of work due that evening.
And so he was babysitting two stubborn kids while working endlessly to meet the few-hour deadline.
It was hell. But in the end, Ren managed to get the work done. Just before he submitted the file, one of the babies suddenly began crying. Ren had to leave his work and see what the problem was.
He carried the baby in his arms, trying to coax her to stop crying. But a few kicks from the baby, and her little feet accidentally deleted the file Ren had been working on all day.
Ren froze, shocked beyond words as he stared at the empty file. The file he had spent hours working on. The one he had to submit urgently to his boss. All deleted, and he had no backups.
Tears rolled down his eyes as he stared at the baby, who had suddenly gone quiet as though she knew what she had done.
