As soon as the Ministers were gone, Yan sank into his seat with a deep sigh. "Annoying old hags," he muttered.
Yin hesitated before he turned to him. "About what they said about the Demon God... what are you going to do? Are you going to do as they say...?"
Yan scoffed. "They want me to take action against the Demon God and punish him with the ancestral divine weapons." He sighed. "Do they think I'm going to do that? I can't. I can't do that to the Demon God."
Yin hesitated without saying a word.
Yan continued. "Even though the Demon God is being stubborn and all, I've known him long enough to know that he's like that. And I can handle that side of him well." He scoffed. "I think they're forgetting that the ancestors betrothed us ages ago. We're destined to end up together. Not even fate can change that. So how am I supposed to hurt him?"
Yin said nothing. He simply stood there, watching and listening.
