One of the Royal Demon Ministers cleared his throat, his red eyes sparkling as he spoke. "There have been terrible rumors about the Demon God since his return. None of them seem pleasant at all."
Another standing beside him spoke, his green snake tail swaying. "It's said that the Demon God has chosen to abandon his people after his return. He has chosen to retire and stay away from his responsibilities, thus betraying his role, the people, and the realm at large."
"Exactly," another snake said, hissing between sentences. "It's said that he simply moves around living a random life and has refused to partake in any mission to fight against the heavens. This is a very irresponsible act from him!"
They all agreed, nodding and muttering amongst themselves. Yan simply sat there, his fingers pressed against his forehead with both eyes closed.
They felt as though the Demon King wasn't really listening, so they continued.
