I couldn't sleep anymore
And whenever I closed my eyes, I saw shadows waiting for me, patient and suffocating my dreams didn't feel Like mine anymore. I felt like someone had taken over my dreams and was reaching towards me to tell me something to take me to places where I wasn't supposed to be
This night the same thing happened.
I was standing in a field which I was not able to recognise. The grasses were swaying in the wind, and in the distance I saw a mist which was the color of crimson,
And that's when I heard a familiar voice
"Celestia"
It was none other than Aurora's voice
I turned, and there she was standing at the end of the field, barefoot, and her dress was torn, and her eyes were dark and bottomless
"You cannot stay Here," She whispered, "They will find you. They always find the descendant. If you get caught, they will steal your soul. Follow me, I will take you somewhere safe."
"Who's descendant Aurora who wants my soul? What are you talking about? I asked
She opened her mouth to answer,
But the same thing happened,
Her body shook violently before it turned into a silver mist
I saw that from the other side of the mist, there was a hand that was pressed against the surface-
The deeper I looked, it looked like claws that were blackened.
And I heard the same whisper
"You are our next little descendant, we will never leave you till we get your soul."
And I woke up with a gasp.
My blanket was around me, and my skin was sweaty.My roommates were all asleep, and the dorm room was silent
That's when I heard it
A whisper
The same whisper that I heard in my dreams
It wasn't coming from inside, but rather outside in the hallway
I got off my bed, and a tiny voice inside me whispered "Don't Do It. Don't you dare Open the door don't you dare follow that whisper" but who would want to listen to the voices after we decided to do something this stupid and reckless,
so, not listening to the voice, I slowly opened the door
The hallway was endless. And the only light source was the moonlight, which fell from the tall windows
And at the far end of the corridor, I saw her
Aurora
She stood still, her head was tilted unnaturally, and her lips were moving as if she was talking, but no sound came, and her hands were blood red
"Aurora- wait," I shouted
She blinked,
and I heard her voice
"Closer," She whispered, "come closer."
As if pulled by a Trance, I slowly walked towards her, and finally I was standing on the terrace, and before I could do further actions.
"Celestia no!" I heard a voice as strong arms made me stand on the ground. I gasped
"What happened?" I whispered
I turned. Lucian was standing behind me, arms wrapped around my waist
"Let go!" I shouted, moving away from his arms
"You were about..." he said, and then only I realized I was standing on the terrace
"How did I come here?" I demanded him "How did you know I was here? How did you climb 20 floors? Are you secretly a vampire or something?" I poked his chest
Lucian sighed
"Go to sleep, Celestia!" He said and walked down.
I looked down the railing and was shocked to see him already walking back to the boys' dormitory
"How did you? Going down from 20 floors is long," I whispered, but
Lucian stopped and looked at me and whispered "Don't stress your mind," he said
This further shocked me. How did he hear my voice
I sighed and walked back home
