Chapter 16 - Chapter 14

When Lucien and Angelina returned from Diagon Alley, the Lionhardt Mansion immediately turned into a war room.

Documents floated.

Holographic ledgers spun.

Coins clinked magically.

Everyone was gathered:

Lucien, Gamma, Yasaka, Venelana, Claire, Grayfia, Velgrynd, Akeno, Sylpha

Angelina sat quietly… trying not to faint.

The Fortune of the Peverells

Gamma adjusted her glasses.

"Confirmed assets of the Peverell Family."

The numbers appeared in the air.

10 Ancient Vaults 20 million galleons per vault Total: 200 million galleons

Angelina froze.

"…Do you have any idea how much that is?"

Lucien nodded calmly.

"Enough."

Angelina clutched her chest.

"That's not 'enough,' that's economy-breaking."

Corporate Power — Wizarding Edition

Gamma continued, her voice perfectly professional:

100% ownership — Cleansweep Broom Company 20% shares — Nimbus Racing Broom Company 20% shares — Comet Trading Company 20% shares — Borgin & Burkes 35% shares — Floo Network Authority 20% shares — Honeydukes

Angelina whispered:

"…You control how people travel, eat sweets, and fly."

Lucien blinked.

"…That sounds bad when you say it like that."

Real Estate & Influence

Yasaka smiled as more information appeared:

70 Wizarding Shops

(Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, and across Europe) 25 Mansions worldwide Two seats on the Wizengamot

Allies flashed next:

Greengrass, Vole, Black, Bones, Ollivander, Abbott, Scamander, Flamel…

Angelina exhaled.

"So you're basically… wizard nobility royalty?"

Lucien tilted his head.

"…Apparently."

The Problematic Section

Then Gamma paused.

"…And now the final item."

A list appeared.

Marriage Contracts:

Greengrass Vole Bones Black

Lucien's eye twitched.

"…Excuse me?"

The twitch got worse.

Venelana burst out laughing.

Claire fell onto the sofa, holding her stomach.

"Oh gods—look at his face!" Claire wheezed.

Venelana wiped a tear.

"Lady Killer strikes again."

Everyone else blinked in confusion.

Akeno tilted her head.

"…Why are there so many?"

Lucien muttered darkly:

"I was TEN."

Dividing the Work

Lucien took a breath.

"Alright. Gamma, Yasaka, Venelana, Claire—handle the political and business assets."

"Grayfia, Velgrynd, Akeno, Sylpha—inspect the Peverell mansions."

Everyone nodded.

Angelina raised her hand.

"…Can I go too?"

Lucien smiled.

"Sure."

Angelina beamed.

The Watcher

That night.

The mansion was quiet.

Lucien stood alone in a hallway, tails swaying gently.

That feeling again.

Stronger.

Closer.

"…You can stop hiding," Lucien said calmly, drawing Kyōka Suigetsu.

"Come out."

The air split.

Shadows folded inward.

And someone stepped forward.

Death Appears

A woman.

Pale.

Elegant.

Ancient.

Lucien's instincts screamed—but not in fear.

"…You're Death," Lucien said.

The figure bowed gracefully.

"Greetings, Master."

Lucien frowned.

"…Why are you watching me?"

Death smiled softly.

"I have waited a very long time."

Lucien narrowed his eyes.

"For what?"

She met his gaze.

"You are a descendant of the Peverell Brothers."

Lucien nodded slowly.

"But more than that—"

Her eyes glowed silver.

"You carry the Apex Bloodline: Nine-Tailed Sovereign."

She stepped closer.

"That makes you… my master."

Lucien froze.

"…Your what?"

"And," she added gently, "my future lover."

The Face of Death

Light wrapped around her.

Her form shifted.

When it faded—

Lucien's breath hitched.

Tall.

Elegant.

Dangerously beautiful.

She looked exactly like Bayonetta.

Death tilted her head, amused.

"Do I look… hot?"

Lucien's brain shut down.

(Yes.)

Death laughed softly.

"So honest."

She stepped forward, cupped his face—

And kissed his forehead.

"For eternity," she whispered.

"I will walk beside you."

Lucien stood there, stunned.

"…My life is very weird."

Death smiled.

"Oh, Master."

"It's only just beginning."

The heir of Peverell had claimed wealth, power, and influence.

And now—

Even Death had chosen him.
