The mayor and the 11 other secretaries turned back to look at her.
The main secretary in charge of her turned her head to the mayor, the mayor nodded in response.
"What is it?" the main secretary asked.
"The data and arrow indicators are skyrocketing. Going far higher than anything those... 'people' used." the secretary responded while occasionally looking down at the instrument in her hand. The mechanism still giving off high readings.
Now everyone rose an eyebrow at this.
Each of the secretaries in the room carry a component with them. Each and every component itself is capable of reading various natural and unnatural data's and power. The ability of being able to measure energy emitted in a broad area is only but a single simple use of this component.
It also revealed the exact gap in strength between the mayor and the people at the Town center earlier. But it doesn't take a genius to figure out that some of those 5,000 are well over the strengths the mayor could reasonably handle after they unleashed themselves.
Reluctant as it may be. The mayor knew the best course of action after a brief 'silent' encounter was to make an acceptable location for handling their compromise in a reasonable above board manner.
That is why the stage for a formal encounter was set for the Leviathan Grand Theater. To come here to obtain a 'reasonable identity' they both desired. For him to calm and protect the public and for them to reasonably exist in his town without taking any drastic measures.
Supposedly that is.
And as for those people… Honestly, the mayor still doesn't understand why some of them haven't gotten violent after so long.
But he is thankful nonetheless.
"Find them out." The mayor took no chances and asked all his secretaries to investigate.
Quickly the 12 secretaries fiddled with their instruments and started communicating with each other.
Soon, they reached an answer.
But.
The answer...
Is not what they expected.
"What is it?" The mayor asked after seeing their confused and unsure expressions.
"The one causing this is... a cat." said one of the 3 main secretaries.
"What..." said the mayor in a deadpan voice.
Even the guards looked stunned, dazed, and bewildered after hearing this.
"This cat also seemed to just have walked into our range as well; otherwise, we would have never found it." said one of the secretaries.
"So... you mean to tell me that a cat had just walked into our detection range, by accident might I add, while we were detecting and monitoring these people. And we just so happen to be lucky enough to find out this cat have more power being used then anything these guys are sneakily doing?" said the mayor in a moment of sheer flabbergast.
"More specifically, a black and white cat." said one of the secretaries.
"That is spinning and dancing in circles." added another secretary.
Silence...
