"MEEEOOOOWWWWW!!!"
Experimental subject number 280.
"MEEEOOOOWWWWW!!!"
Outward visual body signs indicate a fierce struggle of gray fog and black ooze assimilation corruption.
"MEEEOOOOWWWWW!!!"
The limited and weakened black ooze of corruption has failed to assimilate the sitting spinning and dancing black and white cat.
"MEEEOOOOWWWWW!!!"
The gray fog inside the cat has finally driven off the limited and weakened black assimilation corruption to the very tips and edges of the cats' ears, paws, teeth, and tail.
"MEEEOOOOWWWWW!!!"
Success!
Finally, after so long.
An experimental subject has finally reach equilibrium.
By the results, the cat should have the total power of 0.00,000,1% black void and 99.99,999,9% gray fog.
Or in other words.
The weakened power of the black void is one million times stronger than the gray fog.
Only after weakening the influence a million times can the fog be able to fight back against the black void and prevent itself from being corrupted and assimilated.
I have to say.
The power around me is pretty alarming if it has that much power when compared to what the fog can already do with its own power.
And this is not including my personal strength, this is only the weakened power of my existence being emitted after being greatly restrained till a certain limit.
And from a long distance away from me too, just to make it more successful.
and yet, the fog is able to create things, like this cat, far more perfectly with its power then I ever could.
I have seen all kinds of things created from the fog using its limited strength, and I have to say I am a bit jealous of its amazingly accurate control.
Both amazing and interesting.
Makes me have second thoughts about exploring beyond the town, into the sea of dense fog.
But one loud road roar deep in the fog...
That is enough to make me sober again.
So, it is best to explore inside the town. The town is large enough already; I don't need to risk it.
Anyways, that should be the last of it.
I have explored the entire outskirts of this town.
I found all of the many weird and interesting things the fog created in the town.
That were eventually destroyed...
But I made a successful cat!
Oh, and I found out the name of this town.
Shell Beach Town.
From the hints and clues I dug up exploring the town, this town is actually not far away from the sea.
Somewhere up north is the beach, just beyond the dense sea of fog.
Originally the town people living here lived a life of luxury because of that beach too.
Some newspapers and other records show that the beach was a popular pier port location for trading and traveling of many merchant goods.
Not anymore.
Something happened to this world and a dense sea of fog, and the dangers lurking inside it, slowly started to spread after several hundreds of years.
Finally spreading to even here.
Eventually the people here left and never came back.
But...
There a is mystery here in this town.
If they left...
Slowly, I turn my attention from the cat to the other side of the room.
Standing before me on that wall.
Are rows upon rows of gorgeous jewelry, gold, silver, and what looks like currency of this world are all neatly placed.
Not just this house.
All the houses I have visited so far have something similar to here.
If...
If the fog is a slowly expanding threat that has been around for several hundreds of years.
Something this town, by the newspapers and other media, is well aware of that will eventually reach here.
Why didn't they take all the valuables with them when they left?
