CHAPTER 5
The Sinclair family used to be one of the big four families in the countries but in the recent years, they slowly declined due to constant targeting by one of their competitors.
They slowly declined in their prowess but that didn't stop them from being an aristocrat. No one looked down on them despite the fact that they had slowly declined in the worldly affairs. It was all due to Gabriel Sinclair. Ava and Aurora's father. Since he took position, he had shown his incompetence. At first Aurora's mother was still alive to hold the power struggle but as she died, so did their influence. The rest of the Sinclair family that was not in the direct descendant would have taken power if not the fact that there was a rule in the family that non direct decadents were not allowed to rule the family. They would have taken it from him then. So in the recent years, they calmly accessed his daughters. Aurora took the intelligence of her mother and would make the business rise again but as for Ava? She was as useless as her mother. They honestly didn't know what Gabriel was thinking when he made Vivienne his wife despite knowing the fact that she was dumb.

"Chloe so how is your dad?"
"my dad is doing okay. Thankfully, he only strained his leg. But for now, he can't support his self so I might stay here for at least two weeks while waiting for my sister to come back."
"I'm glad that uncle is not in danger. Do say hi for me please"
"okay. Also Aura, I'm begging you…. please don't let your guard down about Ava. She might harm you"
"I won't" aurora said sarcastically and hung up the phone while rolling her eyes.
